It was not "Russia" who took down the plan its the rebels fighting on Ukraine who are getting weapons from Russia. Awful what happened but who are the west to judge we are no better groups backed in Syria US backed beheaded a 7 year old boy on camera of course US said it was awful and it was investigating nothing happened. Or the fact US sells weapons to African countries who murder tens of thousands or sell weapons to Saudia Arabia who murder thousands of its own people US are the biggest arms dealers in the world hypocrites

Sad truth is the US and Russia are as bad as each other of course Russian media makes the west the bad guys just like the Western media blames Russia for everything its all bullshit

Also in the news on Oct 7 the US men's soccer team will go to Cuba to play a friendly.

How does this game help our national team?

You should see the shit field we will play on. Who are we bringing to play?

This is not a real game it is bull shit political game.

I want to see a picture of one of the rooms our players will be staying in a hotel in Cuba.

I foresee it looking like a 1950's whore house. I would not be surprised if they use that place as a whore house.

All of the players will be given 1950 Ford Fairlanes to drive around the island in.

That is half the people who were on that train. Poor women got it while standing on the platform. Sometimes it is better not to have a family then subject them to that kind of sorrow.

Russia have accused the US of protecting an Al Qeada affiliated group in Syria

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-37520793

The US is trying to spare a jihadist group in its attempts to unseat Syria's President Bashar al-Assad, Russia's foreign minister has told the BBC.
Sergei Lavrov said the US had broken its promise to separate the powerful Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (formerly known as al-Nusra Front) and other extremist groups from more moderate rebels.
Jabhat Fateh al-Sham is linked to al-Qaeda.
A US state department spokesman said the Russian allegations were "absurd".
Mark Toner told journalists that the US had not targeted al-Nusra for months because they had become "intermingled" with other groups and civilians.
And he accused the Russians of forcing moderate elements within the Syrian opposition into the hands of extremists with their attacks.
Mr Lavrov was speaking to Stephen Sackur on BBC World News TV on the first anniversary of the beginning of the Russian air campaign in Syria.
"They [the US] pledged solemnly to take as a priority an obligation to separate the opposition from Nusra," he said.
"They still, in spite of many repeated promises and commitments... are not able or not willing to do this and we have more and more reasons to believe that from the very beginning the plan was to spare Nusra and to keep it just in case for Plan B or stage two when it would be time to change the regime."
Watch the BBC interview in full.

No credible 'plan B' - Diplomatic correspondent Jonathan Marcus
Mr Lavrov says that it is US policy towards Syria that is floundering, insisting that American officials have lost control of both events and of themselves.
There is an element of truth here - at least in policy terms. The US has no real alternative to Secretary of State John Kerry's efforts to deal with the Russians. There is no credible "plan B".
Mr Lavrov's central message - that Washington has refused to press its allies to separate themselves from the Islamists of al-Nusra ignores the fact that it is Russia's air campaign that is pushing rebel groups into al-Nusra's arms. Mr Lavrov's contention that the US is preserving al-Nusra, hoping eventually to use it to change the regime, will prompt gasps of condemnation in Washington.
But Mr Lavrov implicitly highlights a perennial difficulty for Washington - its search for a moderate opposition of sufficient critical mass to influence the battlefield.

Media captionRussia's claim is "absurd", says State Department spokesman Mark Toner
A recent US-Russian deal was meant to lead to joint Russian-US air strikes on the Islamic State group and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham.
But many of the more moderate rebel groups that the US backs have formed a strategic alliance with the more powerful Jabhat Fateh al-Sham and now fight alongside it.
Mr Lavrov said: "We believe that the Russian-American deal must be put into effect. For this the only thing which is necessary is to separate the opposition from Nusra. If it is supported by the United States, not on paper but in real life, and then we will insist on an immediate cessation of hostilities."

Eastern Aleppo has come under intense aerial bombardment for the past week
The United Nations says 400 civilians, including many children, have been killed in the besieged city of Aleppo during the past week as a result of bombardment by Russian and Syrian government forces.
Mr Lavrov insisted Russia was helping President Assad's forces to "fight terrorists".
And he accused the West of staying quiet about civilian suffering in Aleppo when it was expecting the city to fall to the rebels after the Nusra group moved in and cut supply lines to the civilian population.
"We had many pauses, many humanitarian pauses during this year... 48 hours, 72 hours at the request of the United Nations.
"Every time these pauses have been used by Nusra to get from abroad more fighters, more ammunition and more weapons. There must be some first step and we have to get our priorities right.
"Humanitarian things are very important and we are doing everything now together with the Syrian government to help the United Nations to get weekly pauses in Aleppo to deliver humanitarian goods. It's the Nusra-controlled people in eastern Aleppo who refuse to do this."

Media captionAleppo: Key battleground in Syria's civil war
Pressed on the civilian casualties in Aleppo allegedly caused by Russian bunker-busting bombs, phosphorus munitions and cluster bombs, he replied: "If this happens, then we are very sorry."
But he insisted there had been no "meaningful proof" of this and there was a need to investigate every case.
"We are not using any munition which is prohibited by the United Nations," he added.
Friday saw Syrian government forces and rebels fighting in the centre of Aleppo and north of the city, a week into the Russian-backed offensive by the Syrian army to take the city and surrounding area.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group and a Syrian military official said government forces had captured territory north of Aleppo and buildings in the city centre, but rebel sources denied this.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-philippines-duterte-hitler-idUSKCN1200B9

some of you guys on here think he is a good leader........

Philippines' Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug users

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte appeared to liken himself to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler on Friday and said he would "be happy" to exterminate three million drug users and peddlers in the country.

Although the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama played down the remark, Duterte's comments triggered shock and anger among Jewish groups in the United States, which could create pressure on the U.S. government to take a tougher line with the Philippines leader.

U.S. State Department spokesman Mark Toner on Friday said Duterte's comments, in a rambling speech on his arrival in Davao City after a visit to Vietnam, were "a significant departure" from America's partnership with the Philippines "and we find them troubling."

Duterte told reporters that he had been "portrayed to be a cousin of Hitler" by critics.

Noting that Hitler had murdered millions of Jews, Duterte said, "There are three million drug addicts (in the Philippines). I'd be happy to slaughter them.

"If Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have ...," he said, pausing and pointing to himself.

"You know my victims. I would like (them) to be all criminals to finish the problem of my country and save the next generation from perdition."

In Washington earlier on Friday, a State Department spokeswoman, Anna Richey-Allen, had repeated concerns about reports of extrajudicial killings in the southeast Asian country but offered no response to Duterte's comment referring to Hitler.

A White House official on Friday stuck to a strategy of stressing Washington's long-standing ties with Manila, saying, "We continue to focus on our broad relationship with the Philippines and will work together in the many areas of mutual interest."

How relations between the U.S. and the Philippines evolve will depend more on what Duterte does than on what he says, administration officials have said.

In Hawaii on Friday, U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter met with the defense chiefs of southeast Asian nations, including the Philippines, and U.S. officials said they would use the forum to clarify comments by Duterte that throw into doubt his commitment to military ties with the United States, including joint exercises and patrols.

Carter, speaking before Duterte's remarks in Davao, said Washington had an "ironclad" alliance with Manila.

Since Duterte took office on June 30, more than 3,100 people have been killed since then, mostly alleged drug users and dealers, in police operations and vigilante killings.

Duterte, who was elected in May on the back of a vow to end drugs and corruption in the country of 100 million people, has insulted Obama and in a number of remarks he has undermined the relationship between Manila and Washington.

On Friday, reacting to critical comments on his war on drugs by U.S. Senators Patrick Leahy and Benjamin Cardin, Duterte said: "Do not pretend to be the moral conscience of the world. Do not be the policeman because you do not have the eligibility to do that in my country."

Jewish groups quickly condemned Duterte's Hitler comments.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, head of the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Digital Terrorism and Hate project, called them "outrageous".

"Duterte owes the victims (of the Holocaust) an apology for his disgusting rhetoric," Cooper said.

VIDEOOutrage as Rodrigo Duterte likens himself to Hitler
The Anti-Defamation League, an international Jewish group based in the United States, said Duterte's comments were "shocking for their tone-deafness".

"The comparison of drug users and dealers to Holocaust victims is inappropriate and deeply offensive," said Todd Gutnick, the group's director of communications. "It is baffling why any leader would want to model himself after such a monster."

Duterte has said there will be no annual war games between the Philippines and the United States until the end of his six-year term, and his hostility may make Washington's strategy of rebalancing its military focus toward Asia in the face of an increasingly assertive China more difficult to achieve.

Murray Hiebert, a Southeast Asia expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies think tank in Washington, said Obama was "taking the long view" in dealing with Duterte. Obama leaves office in January.

Malcolm Cook, a senior fellow at Singapore's ISEAS Yusof Ishak Institute, said the U.S-Philippines alliance was not necessarily at risk, but Washington could seek to focus on ties elsewhere in the region.

"We are all in some sense becoming, by necessity, desensitised to Duterte's language," he said.

"Diplomatically, the U.S. would say they'll continue to work with him and the alliance is strong. But it's whether they'll continue to strengthen that alliance or not."

TIS, take note:

A cluster of more than 200 small earthquakes beneath the Salton Sea in Southern California earlier this week has scientists waiting to see if the slumbering San Andreas fault nearby could be the next to move. The U.S. Geological Survey estimates that following the quake swarm at the Salton Sea on Monday and Tuesday, the likelihood of a magnitude-7 or greater earthquake being triggered is as high as 1 in 100 over the next seven days; the odds will lower as time goes on. But for now, local seismologists might feel their hearts racing. "When there's significant seismicity in this area of the fault, we kind of wonder if [the San Andreas] is somehow going to go active,"

Don’t say you weren’t warned: Aug. 21, 2017, “may turn out to be the most popular vacation-day request in history,” Michael E. Bakich writes in Discover magazine — so you may want to get that time-off request in early.

Why? Because on that date — for the first time in 99 years — a total eclipse of the sun will be visible across the United States, from sea to temporarily-not-shining sea. Millions of Americans will be in easy driving distance of a spectacle that has been called indescribable, unforgettable, even life-altering. The sun will disappear for about 2½ minutes, beginning in Oregon about 10:15 a.m. local time; the phenomenon will move eastward, ending an hour and a half later in South Carolina.

I am soooooooo GLAD that we did NOT have a big earthquake. Normally, this type of stuff doesn't bother me but I had my earthquake kit ready. I was actually scared to send my kids to school in case it hit when they weren't at home.

A 4.1 quake and under I don't get out of bed for but anything over that is pretty significant. When they're talking a 7 pointer that's massive. Cell phone service is usually inop with a 5 and power goes out so you can imagine a 7. It would be total chaos.

Calais 'Jungle': Fires rage across migrant camp

this was never going to go down well they had to do it but some of those guys had been trying to get into the UK for years they were understandingly going to be pissed but it had to be done it has become dangerous for lorry drivers they have been jumping on the lorries and dont like getting forced of plus they have caused havoc with the locals and constantly fighting with the police. I do feel sorry for them its sad but this had to be done. What i dont like is all these kids who are on there own thousands of them alot of them already gone missing that worries me

problem is the smugglers are telling them that if they come to UK or Germany they will be rich and they see all the movies and they are in poverty alot of these guys sad thing is they dont realize till they get here things are not great in Europe they will stil be in poverty there is a high chance they wont even get into the UK or Germany and there is also a real chance they will die on the way either getting killed or dying at sea. There countries have to do more to teach there people not to come that things are not so great over here. I can understand Syrians or Iraqis they are coming from war zones they have no choice

F1,

Thanks.I agreed with about 90% of what he said. American imperialism and meddling, done in HER best interest and not in the interest of the other country... stealing natural resources and keeping other countries "poor".
In my opinion, THIS is what created the anti-Western sentiment around the world and especially in the Middle East.

Haiti has natural resources but since we can't even provide clean drinking water to our people, we definitely do NOT have the infrastructure to extract and process those natural resources.
Foxes are more dangerous than wolves because you can see the wolf coming miles away..so to some extent I agree with the characterization of the Clintons and by extension Dem.s as smiling charlatans. Rep.s and Dem.s are both sides of the same coin when it comes to international affairs though.

I like what the Chinese have done with the African countries. No pretense of "aiding", no "missionaries" to lull you to sleep ...just business.....we want the access to resources, we will build infrastructure to extract resources, we will build other infrastructure and that's that.

Disagreed with him saying that Clinton is responsible for so many Blacks in prison, though. Commit crime, go to jail, period.

will add more later, but thanks for the video...

F1,
I appreciate you saying that. I agree with the poster who wrote that Rep.s are kicking themselves for trotting out Trump in an election that was winnable.Very few Americans are going to care about Clinton Foundation dirty dealings in foreign countries, but Hillary is vulnerable on a few issues. A more viable candidate with political experience might have made this a real race.

I think that the rise of Trump was in some ways a long con. The same media that Trump blasts now, gave him nonstop coverage during the primaries, boosted him up. Networks got the ratings and Trump got free airtime. Candidates that were making more sensible plans(and could have posed bigger threat to Clinton) got overshadowed by 24/7 Trump news. I happen to think that this was not a coincidence.

Trump allowed people to vent and when the dust settled he was the last one standing. Sometimes parents let tantrum throwing child keep doing it until they get tired. I've seen organizations and leaders channel Black people's emotions and energy the same way before so I recognized the con.

Gets,

The thing with Trump is that he not only has disgruntled Republicans, but angry Democrats and Independents. On the site Quora people were asked about this, and several said that they were Democrats who were voting for him but D on everything else. Trump doesn't represent Republicans, he represents himself. He's a cult of personality. Because he's the outsider who's going to take on the Establishment they overlook his generally horrific candidacy. During the primaries polls showed that he was the one GOP candidate who would lose to Hillary. I believe the GOP candidate with the best chance to beat Hillary was Marco Rubio, but Trump's supporters didn't care.

Now we have two candidates who made promises that are impossible to pay for. Trump says Mexico will pay for multi-billion dollar wall across the Mexican border, and Hillary says all public higher education will be free. She also wants open borders and a federal minimum wage of $15 an hour, which means there will be fewer low-skilled jobs and higher unemployment with more unemployed people brought in from all over the world, and somehow there will be extra tax money to pay for free education and single-payer insurance. Oh yeah, she also says she won't increase the national debt. Hilarious.

In the meantime, both of them want to increase military spending while Medicare, Social Security and SSI are going broke.

This country is screwed.

Sure. By the time the FBI launches the new "investigation," Clinton will already will have been sworn in as President.

Trump never got any real traction on the email scandal among swing voters--he was too wrapped up in himself to think through how he could capitalize on the issue by swaying uncommitted voters, instead of preaching to his choir. The irony is that any number of GOP candidates could easily have clobbered Clinton on the email issue alone.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin blasted Megyn Kelly and Fox News Channel on Wednesday, saying that Rupert Murdoch’s two sons, James and Lachlan, are ruining the network and Kelly is “out of control.”

“I think it’s fair to say the Fox News Channel is imploding. I think it’s fair to say the Murdoch boys, both of whom are liberals, are slowly but surely ruining that network,” Levin said. “Their top star’s Megyn Kelly. Megyn Kelly is out of control.”

Levin mocked Kelly for an old appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show by saying, “I thought she’s a journalist,” and then blamed the Fox News host for setting the stage for personal attacks during the primary election by simply asking Donald Trump a question regarding his treatment of women.

“She’s doing it again,” Levin said, referring to the recent dust-up between Kelly and Newt Gingrich that has earned her praise from mainstream media outlets and liberals, but resulted in criticism from conservatives.

Levin continued to bash Kelly and Fox News for roughly fifteen minutes. “She is auditioning, in my opinion, for a bigger forum. That’s not exactly a state secret,” Levin said of Kelly. “But please don’t pretend you’re a journalist. If this is the future of Fox, Fox will be dead.”

All of the animosity wasn’t directed at Kelly. Levin went on to call Shepard Smith a “sarcastic, snarky liberal.”

It is so entertaining to see Fox go after each other. On Hillary Clinton being investigated, FBI are investigating Anthony, and they found some of her missing emails. That is pretty bad when you mix in Anthony Wiener having a sex chat with an underage girl. That is bad.

BREAKINGWhite House: FBI boss not trying to influence election
Posted at
17:27
Josh Earnest, the White House press secretary, has told reporters President Barack Obama believes FBI director James Comey is a "man of integrity and good character".

DNC chairwoman helped Clinton ahead of Sanders - Wikileaks

Brazile became the DNC chairwoman on the eve of the convention in Philadelphia this summer
Democratic National Committee interim chairwoman Donna Brazile has resigned as a commentator for CNN after emails revealed that she assisted the Clinton campaign during the primaries. Brazile had previously taken a leave of absence from the cable news network after the previous DNC boss resigned and she was promoted to top spot.

18 revelations from the Wikileaks hack

Emails released today by Wikileaks show that before a primary debate hosted by CNN in March, Brazile contacted the Clinton campaign to notify them about a question she and her rival, Senator Bernie Sanders, would be asked about the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.

"One of the questions directed to HRC tomorrow is from a woman with a rash," Brazile wrote to senior Clinton staff. "Her family has lead poison and she will ask what, if anything, will Hillary do as president to help the ppl of Flint."

An earlier Wikileaks release had already shown that Brazile had emailed questions to the Clinton camp, ahead of a CNN town hall event.
The president does not believe he is trying to affect the election but he finds himself in a "tough spot".

The White House will neither defend nor criticise Mr Comey's decision, the spokesman added.

This puts the president at odds with Hillary Clinton, who called the Comey letter and its timing "deeply troubling".
