As someone with a big interest in Essex County/Newark mobsters, I'd like to know more about Pete the Crumb. He became a capo after The Nodder was hit but I've not learned alot more about him other than him cooperating. Did he run a section of Newark around where his social club on Hudson St. was? I know he was a killer but was he respected? His partner Philly Fay Casale was a killer as well but I don't believe he was made. Anybody have any information about Caprio?

Not exactly sure when he was made. He was promoted to capo after Natale/Merlino had him kill Sodano in 96 because Sodano was ignoring their requests for meetings. Sodano was maybe the biggest earner that the NNJ crew ever had. Casale was a child molester who nobody respected but Caprio was close to him and used him often. He was responsible for the actual hit on Sodano. Supposedly Natale asked Caprio after the hit if Casale was ready to be made and Caprio said no.

Pretty sure he was initiated in 1982. I thought at the same time Sodano was but I could be wrong about that. And I don't know if people would necessarily classify him as a killer. Like Scarfo or Leonetti were killers. I can't remember his exact role in the 1975 murder he confessed to, but after that he just seems to have ordered Casale to murder people. Quite a few(five in the 90s) but that's just him telling someone to have it done.

Granello told [girl] that he would take her to consult the specialist in NYC on June 11 last. However, in the event his chauffeur was unable to pick her up he gave her $20 for bus fare to NYC.
Following disclosure of the alleged rape by [girl] to [her boyfriend] the latter suggested that she advise her parents and thereafter, [girl's] mother advised the NYS police. [Girl] was examined on the evening of June 11 by Doctor [name redacted] Greenwood Lake, New York, who acknowledged that [girl] had sexual relations but was unable to determine the time or previous chastity of [girl] due to the lapse of time since the occurrence.
