I wouldn't be surprised to see someone in their twenties getting made, I've known some very young guys that just struck me as soldiers. I knew kids selling 3-4 lbs of pot a week in high school, i was writing action in my teens, sometimes you learn the life at a young age. Most guys in their 40s haven't earned the button as far as my opinion goes, age is just a number.

If you are around the right person, you could get made young. Some captains or even soldiers push for a guy to get his button not so much for being an earner, but for being loyal to him. Example, a made guy is going away for a few years. He has a very loyal/ impressionable young guy around him that he can trust will take care of his finances while he is away.
