I have gone through the Scarpa files a couple of times but haven´t found anything on Larry Gallo being a captain. If I missed it somehow, please point me out to which part and appr what page where it says so. I know for sure that both the Gallo brothers were dirctly under Magliocco for awhile and then they were probably put to be under Harry Fontana. After their expulsion, Larry was brought back and put to be in Colombo´s decina. I don´t think there is any mention of Larry becoming a skipper after that.

They were most likely put to be under Toddo Marino and after his death in 1979, they were probably under Tommy Contaldo and Alphonse Malangone.

And weren't they kind of under Nicky Bianco at one point too?

if it was rainy i go over the friends of ours site he got the scarpa files on the side but it takes a while of diging. hk probaly write but i swear i remeber reading scarpa saing after colombo striped all the capos and did a head count of the family it was 114 he put larry something to appease i think but he was dying of cancer and was getting parts cutt off of him i think. guess there mom was a tough old lady. some guy wrote a book about the gallos lions din or someshit maybe ill find it cheap but after the alite/jr books i think im done. just to much bullshit the alite book was the worst other then the 302. serioulsly looking for the book on that mexican mob guy the boxer he turned informant. mob books are to much bs. mickey scars cant write abook cause he probaly still has famiyl in there so he doesnt want to bring a case against them or his kid.

The book about the mexican mafia guy is called the black hand by Chris blatchford, pmac. I'm considering buying it looks a good read, and your right both books by Jr and alite were terrible. I haven't read a great mob book since five families.
