Hernandez was overrated. Gronk was always way better. Hernandez was versatile but soft, especially in the Red Zone.

I wonder how many games the pats would have won if they would have given Hernandez a gun in the red zone.

This is just flat out wrong buddy. I could give a shit less about Hernandez the person, but as a TE he was on the same level as gronk, who can never stay healthy anyway. Hernandez could have been one of the most versatile TEs ever with his skill set.

Being a great player takes more than physical ability. How many great athletes have we seen that didn't do shit in their careers? Then we have guys who don't look like they belong in pro sports who become hall of famers. Look at a guy like Emmitt Smith. He was small and slow. All-time rushing champ. Then look at guys like Alonzo Highsmith, DJ Dozier, and Curtis Enis who had all the tools and never did anything.

Hernandez on the same level as Gronk is hilarious. Not only is Gronk maybe the best blocking TE in the league, Gronk is the best Red Zone threat in the NFL.
