Lately, ive found myself listening to a lot of early Van Halen. Eddie Van Halen is one of the most gifted musicians ive ever heard. Their early music is just great Hard Rock. The intro to Mean Streets and Unchained are just killer.
Still like Led zep, am a huge john bonham fan.

The thing I notice about Van Halen (under David Lee Roth), is that the recordings sound like new music. They don't sound dated.

Here's another gem. Kindly turn up base and volume, as with the rest. The only thing wrong with it, like all the others, is that it is far too short. It should keep on repeating itself...

Hey KJ, all you gotta do to post a youtube video is remove the S in "https".

PS: That version of the Steve Winwood video is not available in the USA, so those of us who are in that country won't see it. Maybe link a different one.

Don't know if it was you that let me know that but I wouldn't have had a clue as to why youtube wouldn't post any more. I wonder why it changed? Anyway glad I'm not the only one.

Hey Primo, that video can't show in the United States, due to copyright issues. You got a Soundcloud version? Or maybe a different Youtube version? I could probably find these things, but it's your video. You should get the cred for it.

Billy Squier - The Stroke
I just bought it on iTunes. His songs were good. It's too bad the director had him act like a homosexual in one of his videos (not that there is anything wrong with that) UNLESS you are trying to sell records. tongue

Edit: Had to add vid lol

Oh yeah, I picked up on that. On SoundCloud I think, each and every mix in that 2 hour party chillin mix is listed individually. So I've sampled some of them individually and they're alright. What's interesting is that the components of the party mix are not banned in the United States, just the aggregate mix.

Here is Power (Zimmer Mix) by Pompeya. Enjoy...

Some good old Slayer classics

[video:youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KsPZ1f7MDs

[video:youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6_zsJ8KPP0

I saw them live a few years ago and the crowd behaved like a pack of bloodthirsty feral animals. The mosh pits were enormous scenes of violence and destruction. At the end I came out spitting blood, had bruised ribs and suffered a second degree cigarette burn wound on my hand. That's the price I paid for wanting to jump into the pit with the big guys, I took the risk willingly lol Could've been worse, another guy dislocated his knee, another one tore his ear, two instances of broken collarbones...
