Didn't see this happening but wow big news. Does this mean he eats it for the shooter ? Time served and good behavior he could be out in 12 years or so? Not sure how the guidelines work with the case...if he goes thru with this and stands up, that will be old school. On the other hand , is he flipping ?

This case was a slam dunk. I can't believe they'd deal without some kind of allocution. I guess we'll find out soon enough, though.

Why even offer a deal? The guy's defense was among the most silly in human history.

Yeah, I wasn't implying you'd think he'll turn PB as you don't really engage in Philly talk but if you listen to people like Sonny he didn't think there was a tiny chance that Nicodemo would stand tall, which is weird.

Same with 99 out of 100 on here, just look at how many made guys have flipped, even in recent times it's a tiny fraction.

That's why I asked if we knew the particulars. I thought it was a slam dunk, regardless of the mistrial.

Reason for the plea is during the first trial they never had a motive for the guys murder plus there was the masked man or driver whatever nicodemo was. They got him off the street for probably 20 ys his life's over. Its like Arron Hernandez trial there so much evidence yet there's so many holes. 2 other guy are getting separate trials. First degree means it was plotted. I graduated from the school of law n order svu the icet one.

Yeah his defense was laughable you're right. The only reason theyd be willing to deal in my opinion is to avoid the time and state expense to try this case. I can guarantee as someone w experience in a prosecutors office that theyre gonna deal with murder 2 or 3 or as an accessory. Im not sure was he charged as the actual shooter w first degree murder? Regardless hell do 20-25 yrs i would think
