I noticed the sarcasm . I'd suggest both of you check out Lie To Me , it's a bit weird starting a show that was cancellend but i promise the first two Seasons were excellent.

If it's on Netflix I'll check it out. My wife doesn't mind when I take the tablet to bed, as long as I use the ear buds. To be fair, I think she actually prefers it now .

If you are saying what I think you are saying then maybe you need to use your tablet to MAKE a movie WITH your wife then watch it without the ear buds. You are Pizza Boy after all...Hey did anyone here order a pizza? Forget about Netflix.

It's on Netflix, report back with your thoughts if you give it a shot. I've got a feeling you'll like it, i personally think it's much better than Criminal Minds.

No doubt it is quite the frock accompanied by a Dago T and gold chains...
Don't forget about the black socks
And sandals!
I was gonna say slippers
Pizzaboy only wears slippers with his bathrobe while wandering the streets in NYC unkempt and unshaven like The Chin. The black socks and sandals are for Boca Raton... you know, specoal occasions and holiday.

Make sure you watch "Hawaii Five-0" when it airs on the West Coast tonight. It was hard to follow but the ending was PHENOMENAL. It finally tied up that storyline that I hated a couple of years ago.

Yep, I'm planning on watching. I remember the previews last week looked good. I really am enjoying this season.
The scenery alone is fantastic (Alex O'Louglin) and of course Hawaii is absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for not giving anything away!!

I'll only give this much away: The ending was really special.
The last five minutes could have actually served as the series finale. It was that good and that conclusive. But the show's a hit and we know that it's here for a good while to come. And I agree about the scenery. I used to watch "Burn Notice" and "CSI: Miami" for much the same reasons.
And you can have McGarrett. I'll take Kono .
And don't forget to tell me that I was right tomorrow .

Really good episode, tho it was somewhat confusing. The description of the episode said it showed what "might have happened had 5-O taken a different course." It it really was.
So, McGarrett's mom was sort of a surrogate mom for Wo Fat explaining why there was no DNA match when McGarret checked? Did I miss something as to where his mom is now? McGarret's hallucinations/flashbacks added but did get confusing sometimes. Hilarious seeing Danno go all McGarrett with that guy in the hospital and Steve trying to calm him down. LOL They switched roles.
Btw, where have I seen that Jorge Garcia before? He looks familiar.
Oh, and man, lots of scenes of shirtless Steve. What a bod!!! Just saying.

Yeah, Tis. It was confusing but the the payoff was worth it. And I agree that the role reversal hallucinations were hysterical.
I'm just glad that they killed off Wo Fat sooner rather than later. Because now they can distance themselves from the original show (which had Wo Fat escape way too many times, and he survived the entire twelve year run of that show).
I honestly think the producers realized that they made a mistake with the Doris McGarrett character. She was just too unsympathetic. A good mother wouldn't leave her children behind like that. She'd stay and die with them. C.I.A. be damned. And it's a shame because I've LOVED Christine Lahti as an actress ever since she played off Al in "And Justice for All."
And you may remember Jorge Garcia from the last season of "Becker." He took Saverio Guerra's place in the last season. Guerra played that sleazy guy, Bob, who always referred to himself in the third person.
And Garcia's funny as Hell as a conspiracy theorist on "Five-0."

Yea, I too love Lahti but agree, she was not a likable character (mother) at all. At least her role was explained and we now know what she was hiding from Steve.
Wasn't Woo Fat actually really fat in the original Hawaii Five O? And yea, I don't mind the Garcia character. I like all the characters actually. I think the show is improving to tell the truth. Tho I admit I don't mind that Katherine is gone. She never seemed to fit imho. I think if this new blonde attorney is a regular, she's better as Steve's girlfriend. But hey, what do I know?
Plus, for the Walking Dead fans here, Norman Reedus (Darrell) had a brief part. I thought it was him but wasn't until I read a review of the show that confirmed he had a small part.

Guaranteed that the blonde will be Steve's love interest. That actress is Australian, just like Alex O'Loughlin. I don't think that's a coincidence.
And I agree about Katherine. She was okay as a guest star. But as soon as she became a regular she lost something. I think it may be because she took some screen time from Kono. Television fans are funny like that. I know I am.

Oh, and the big guy that owns the restaurant? What's his name? LOL I like him too. He was in jail in Friday's episode?
Lots of odd but interesting characters, along with the medical examiner, who is interesting as well.
Oh and another minor complaint, tho is little girl is adorable, she shouldn't be calling her dad "Danno." It's good for the rest of the cast but not her. IMHO

Have any of you watched the A&E reality series The Godfather of Pittsburgh? I just happened to catch its premier episode the other night. Apparently, it's about an Italian guy who grew up in Italy and who has several businesses in Pittsburgh including a club and casino and three kids. He looks like a gangster for all the world, but he insists he's not and I haven't come across any info that he is.

Found it. Posted there that it's curious that someone born and raised in Italy would have lost his native accent so thoroughly: difficult, but not impossible.
