You're a big fan of the old television shows, Oli. Just like I am. You should really sign up for Amazon Prime. It's only $79 for the entire year and you get the first 30 days free, so you're free to cancel it.

I would second the recommendation of Amazon Prime. I got it earlier this spring and started watching Season 1 of NYPD Blue. Then shortly after I joined they added a ton of HBO stuff, which added to my "to watch" list. I only watch from my device when I'm on the treadmill, which does two things: 1) makes me feel less guilty for watching and 2) makes it take much longer to get through any series.

Well this is big news, and I still have no idea if it's a good idea to remake this colossus of a movie.

Amazon is the best in every way. Next year amazon prime is going up to 99 dollars. You can't beat it by stuff on prime you get it in two days. Movies that they have are free. Ones you want to buy that they have are like 10 dollars and you can have it instantly.

The only thing is they don't have every movie on it.

If I could find a company that you could buy every movie instantly ever made I would be a member of that.

Prime is half price for students (it used to be free), so we use my daughter's membership. It's great. We also have Netflix Streaming, which has tons of old TV series and is very inexpensive as well.

You can be a Netflix member and give the pass word to everyone in your family. So for all those people you are only paying for one subscription. Now thats a real deal.

That's a brave remake to make that's for sure, it will never touch the original but it will be interesting to see, it will either be a hit or a flop..

I would like it to be a hit, but yeah it probably won't be the fastest grossing movie like the original. Just wonder how much the set, and everything will be.

I know that several of we Board members are Robert Duvall fans. He's starring in a new film entitled The Judge soon to be in theaters.

Robert Downey Jr. plays his estranged son. That's how it looks in the trailer, anyway. I'm looking forward to it.

Just saw a movie I had not seen in over 50 years.

My Kind of Women

It is a dramedy staring Robert Mitchum, Raymond Burr, Vincent Price he was great in this, Jane Russel produced by Howard Hughes.

It was pretty freaking good in a crazy kind of way. If you can find it see it

I'm watching Jimmy Kimmel. "Friends" premiered twenty years ago tonight, so he has Courteney Cox on as a guest.

I always liked her. But she's starting to resemble Melissa Rivers with the plastic surgery.

I find myself buying the moves that are not on prime like crazy to get them instantly. Even movies I have already on DvD and VHS.

If I was Leonard, I'd take the "roommate agreement," roll it up like a pipe, and beat Sheldon to death with it.

If only.

I'm hoping that series ends with Sheldon coming to the realization that despite his IQ, his existence has no socially redeeming value and he has a catharsis and learns some humanity.

New shows hitting our screens lately are GOTHAM, TYRANT, THE KNICK and THE STRAIN. Welcomed back fondly are THE WALKING DEAD, SLEEPY HOLLOW and JUSTIFIED.

You know TIS, you can get help for your Walking Dead addiction. You don't have to be one of them.

Great post and videos thanks for sharing. It's sickening what some people will do for money.

My Mom and aunt have always gone to mediums and have convinced my sister to do so too. I think it's all a crock of shit.

I have not seen the mini series at all, but just wondering is it any good? Also, does it stand on historical fact? I remember that the History Channel had another Houdini special years ago that was really interesting, it was a really good documentary. And, I have seen the one with Tony Curtis playing Houdini. Very entertaining.

I went into a magic, gag, costume type store yesterday. The guy working the counter was showing us a few magic tricks which my kids enjoyed. So of course, I gotta ask this guy if he saw the Houdini mini series. This is what he said: It was completely inaccurate I couldn't take it and had to turn it off even though the acting was excellent. I just thought I'd mention it to you, not sure if you saw it yet.
