That was an exceptional episode, from start to finish,one of the best yet and i hope a sign of things to come for this season.The trough scene was gruesome to say the least, i was sitting there with my mouth open speakless.

Carol came to the rescue and Rick appears to have accepted her back in the group seeing as she saved the day.

Morgan was the last person i expected to see at the end..

That pig's trough thing was pretty disgusting wasn't it? I read (never would have recognized) that the one guy at the trough was the "hippie" guy, that Rick/Carol found in that house the time Rick let Carol go. His girlfriend was found dead remember?

AND, that creepy guy that Rick/Glen let out of the train car. What a weirdo hu? He's supposedly head or part of the "butcher" group that Mary was talking about to Carol.

Glad to see Carol save the day. As disturbing as it was seeing her shoot Lizzy, I'm ready to have her back in the group. And so cool that Darryl and others warmly welcomed her.

I swear I missed some stuff. I'll definitely watch again. A totally action packed start to season 5. AND, to top it off, I read that TWD is already signed to do season 6. Cool!!

Carol has come along way since season 1 that's for sure..

She sure has DeNiro. Remember her abusive a-hole husband? Carol was a timid scared woman. Now, she's kicking major Walker ass.

It's good to see Morgan back too. I always liked his character.

Even though Morgan has only been in two TWD episodes he's a much loved character, it will be interesting to see what role he will play in this season..

Ok, I watched it a second time and liked it even more. Did you guys catch that the people in opening scene in the train car was Mary & her son from Terminus? Also the creepy guy that Rick let out of the train car. Was that another of Mary's sons?

AND what about the catchy Terminus phrase..."You're either the butcher or the cattle."

SPOILERS OF SEASON 5 EPISODE TWO


Of course I watched. Good episode.

Couple observations:

I agree with Rick that Father Gabriel is hiding something. My daughter, who's a teacher, was discussing with other teachers during lunch break today. A couple were of the opinion that Father Gabriel possibly sacrificed his congregation to the Walkers, to spare his own life. (The pic of the church lady for one). Plus the message scraped in the bldg. "you'll burn in hell" (I believe) was meant for Garbriel? Btw, he's out there with NO weapon whatsoever? WTF? He's definitely not gonna last long.

AND of course the fantastic shocker ending....Poor Poor Bob. That Garreth is sure evil isn't he. I mean he tells Bob "he tastes better." Anyone else catch before he was captured, Bob crying? Think maybe he WAS bitten on the leg while in the sewer?
Talking Dead refers to it as the "Bob-A-Que" Ha ha ha.

Was Carol trying to leave when Darryl came out and asked her what she was doing? I'm under the impression she's been forgiven, so don't know why she'd leave.

I was thinking weather Carol was leaving, im not to sure. I feel for Bob,goes for a walk and gets jumped by the worst possible group and they chop his leg off.

That had to be a strong walker to get Bob under the water. I also thought Bob got bit due to he had a gun with him. I thought he was gonna kill himself then that douche Garreth showed up. I hope he gets sick after eating his leg due to Bob was in that nasty water. Poor Bob. I didn't notice at first that his leg was gone.

I Didn't know that Mary from Terminous played Tasha Yar from Star Trek the Next Generation. ( You learn alot from Talking Dead) LOL

Why did Darryl bash out the rear lights on the car before they went to save Beth?

Idk why Carol wants to leave. HMMM...

I guess Darryl smashed the lights so they wouldn't be seen.. I don't think Bob got bit. I was hoping we would see Morgan again but no sign ..

I agree that Darryl smashed the lights of the car to not be seen. I didn't catch that Beth was actually in the car but that was same car that took her before no?

Do you think it was Garreth that Darryl felt was watching OR possibly Morgan? Btw, I'm assuming Morgan came to his senses and is a "nice" guy but I guess it's possible he went more off the deep end.

As far as Carol, it's gotta still be eating at her what she did to Lizzy. I'm guessing that's what's bothering her.

Side note, how sweet to see Rick holding/playing with baby Judith. Just makes me smile.

Come to think of it now it must have been Garath who was watching Darryl, as they was close to the group, i guess they was looking for a unarmed easy target like Bob,

I think it was Garreth who was watching them. Darryl said it was beth in the car we didn't get to see who was in it. I thought it might've been Garreth taking Bob away in that car.

Here's that ending scene. Gives me the chills. I love it when I don't see something like this coming.

SPOILER ALERT

I only noticed that his leg was missing after i went back and re-watched the scene again, was pretty sick seeing them all eating the leg. It's not looking very hopeful for Bob..

Somebody in a comment section suggested that perhaps, since his leg was chopped, maybe he'll be like Hershel, and survive cause they took his leg off shortly after??? Don't know. Just a thought.

Btw, in next weeks previews, someone starts to attack Sasha who is looking for Bob. Is that the same guy?

Yea, all those guys chomping on poor Bob's leg like it's nothing. OMG. Talk about losing a moral compass.

I think Bob was bitten by the "prune" zombie in the flooded basement scene, and that is why he was outside of the church crying when abducted by Gareth. Now that they have roasted his leg and eaten it, I wonder if they're all going to "turn."

I thought that too. Wouldn't that be some form of just desserts? Ha ha ha!! My God, Gareth & crew are so creepy!!!

I don't remember if any of you guys mentioned it, but is anyone into TWD comic book? I found out after I got into the the show that there was a WD comic book.

I know many times when I read comments on either WD site or just general comment after an article some people will say what happens next in the comic book. I try to avoid reading those comments because I hate spoilers. A while back I accidentally read that in the comics one of the major characters was gonna die soon. That was a bummer, but so far, in the series that has NOT happened. So I don't always believe what the comic fans say.

On a positive note tho, I have heard, even thru the writers of the show that the show does NOT necessarily follow exactly, the comic book. For instance, I don't believe the comic has the Darryl character. Or maybe the do now since he is so popular.
