Major league baseball and the mob in nyc are basically the same.
The mob has a boss and a capo . Baseball has an owner( boss) and a capo( manager ).
The mob has soldiers. Baseball has soldiers (players).
The mob has associates/ wannabe's. So does baseball, guys in the farm league.
The mob has rats. So does baseball, jose conseco.
The mob puts contracts on people. So does baseball., huge contracts on Arod.
Mob guys go to different families. So does baseball, guys get traded.
The mob has a commission. So does baseball.

Mob guys retire to florida, so do ball players.
The mob does hits. Baseball players make hits.
Mob guys use lawyers, baseball players use agents. (They dont talk unless there is an agent present.

Mob guys get sent to prison, ball players get sent back to triple a.
Mob guys steal. Ball players steal. They steal bases. Sometimes they get caught.
Mob guys have meetings and whisper. Ball players do as well. When a manager talks to the pitcher or a catcher goes to the mound. They cover their mouths.
Mob guys have social clubs, ball players have club houses and dugouts.
Mob guys use baseball bats. So do ball players.
Mob guys catch charges. Ball players catch balls.
Mob guys deal with unions. Baseball deals with a union.
