Buddy Hackett was the funniest stand-up I've ever seen. He and Don Rickles are 1 and 1a in my book.

perry como was a class act. he deserves tons of respect, I don't know if the mob ever controlled him like they did other Italian singers, but, he was one to look up to.

vic damone came from Brooklyn, and he said on the show regis, that his name was farinola and he knew a lot of bad people in his neighborhood.

he was quoted as saying that he only kept 20% of his earning, he didn't say where the rest went.

Strangers On A Train is on. Great film.

Best scene: when Robert Walker pops the kid's balloon with his cigarette lol

For a wonderfully bizarre and grotesque film, catch the 1927 silent film The Unknown with Lon Chaney and Joan Crawford(!) on TCM early Monday morning at 6:00am (EDT).

The film is a hoot! Chaney plays Alonzo, an armless knife-thrower in a Spanish circus who loves Joan. But, things are not what they seem (are they ever?). Watch this film (it runs under an hour) and I guarantee you'll never forget it.

Definitely a must-see!

Saw that was on, I watch that every Halloween.

I know its not really scarey or anything but it is set on Halloween and in Brooklyn.

Love it.

If you have the classic turner movie app.

The movie till the end of time is on. It was another right after world war 2 coming home.

It pretty good starred guy Madison and a smaller part by Robert Mitchum worth seeing.

Love The Big Heat starring Glenn Ford and Gloria Grahame. Also most all Bogart movies. All time favorite is Somebody up there likes me starring Paul Neuman.

Missed Stage Fright yesterday on TCM. A Hitchcock film I have yet to see - unfortunately, I overslept and didn't set the DVR. Any opinions on this one?

Thanks for mentioning the TCM app, Foots. I watched Public Enemy on the app. Also, yesterday The Hustler was on TV so I was happy I caught it. It was so nice to watch the scene where she can take care of her man when he was out of commission. So beautiful!! Those days seem to be long gone where a woman waits on her man, caters to him, is completely devoted to him. That's too bad.

Also I give Newman 3 meows...Meow, Meow, Meow because he is so charmingly handsome.

Saw Paul Newman eating at the stage deli yrs ago. People keep going up to him asking for autographs. The person I was with wanted to do the same thing. I told him can't you see the guy is trying to eat. Leave him alone their are enough knuckle heads bothering him already. To his credit Newman was very nice to all of them.

Foots, I agree with you about leaving him alone. Although I would love to look into his eyes. How dreamy. I think you living over there in NY and me out here in CA gets us used to seeing famous people so we don't feel the need to bother them asking for autographs.

The only two people that really made an impression on me was Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra.

Got to talk to Bob Hope when his private jet got to the private airport right near La Guardia. It was not a small jet either. A crowd built up as a group of us started to talk to him. A very friendly person.

I never got the chance to meet Sinatra because of the prick I was protecting insulted him by asking him to join our table when one of Sinatra guys ask him to join his table.

I met a lot of famous people when I lived at the Mayflower hotel. We went to a movie premier with Joe Pesce and Liza Minnelli and her husband the queer I forget his name. She is singing in the limo what a voice she had. Get this she really liked Pesce. I saw her grab his dick in the limo in front of her so called husband.

Pesce calls Irene Cara from the movie fame. Her girl friend was a good black singer. Deniro wanted that girl to sing at his birthday party. The girl did she had a big crush on deniro.

After he never called she was devasted. Cara told me they called deniro Robert D Negro because he dug black women.

Just saw requiem for a heavy weight starring Anthony Quinn. Cool movie he plays a washed up fighter who just lost to a new up and coming fighter Casusess clay.

Jackie Gleason and Mickey Rooney co star worth seeing.

After seeing so much of the pope the last few days will watch the shoes of the fisherman starring Anthony Quinn tonight.
