Anthony Casso's wife was extorted after Anthony was sent to prison; her life was made a living hell by all accounts.

How big a problem is this, generally?

Obviously it wouldn't be a problem for a Gotti or a Persico but I imagine it would present a problem for a made guy who doesn't have many/any illegitimate family members.

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

I guess the issue is, when a guy goes to prison for life or dies, which of his assets belong to his family and which belong to the crime family.

Mods should mind their own business and leave poster's profile signatures alone.
