As it was my good lady and mines wedding anniversary yesterday we went to this place for a lovely Sardinian high tea

Last year, when we hit our 14th anniversary, I told my wife that the thing that stuck in my head was Robert DeNiro in "Cape Fear." He mentioned how he had gone away for 14 years. I just kept hearing his voice say "14 years, counselor." And soon after telling my wife that, I vaguely remember spending some time on the couch... wink

We don't travel much on our anniversary any more. She wants to be around the kids and the Grand children.

We used to go to places like San Juan in Puerto Rico and stay at the La Concha. Bermuda places like that.

Now it's mostly near home now. Except when we all go to Germany. Only because my grandson is their handsome Henry, and the communist live in Berlin.

We went back to Clontarf Castle for our third wedding anniversary on October 9th. and with every year that passes Clontarf Castle delivers the same impressive service. Our wedding anniversary is also my husbands birthday. When he was checking in he mentioned that it was our anniversary (hoping for and getting a room upgrade) as we were leaving reception I mentioned it was his birthday also. We were only in our room when Michael arrived with cake for him and seeing me he quickly returned with a slice for me.
