Actor Sylvester Stallone is reportedly in talks to portray real-life hitman Greg Scarpa in a new biopic. If the Rambo star signs on for the film it will reunite him with Rocky producer Irwin Winkler and The Expendables producer Avi Lerner. The movie centres on Scarpa's time as a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) informer. Screenwriter Nick Pileggi tells the New York Post, "It's a fabulous story. Stallone is interested. He likes the script." Read more: http://www.3news.co.nz/Sylvester-Stallon...x#ixzz36rR9PQuA

Who would be your choice for the role PB if you were producing it? I dunno. Just someone a little different. Bobby Carnevale would be fine (like Beanshooter suggested). Just no more of the same faces who've played the same parts all their lives. And no more "Sopranos" extras. That's the main thing. If I see Vinny Pastore in one more B fucking movie playing the same guy again I'll scream .

There's a whole crew of actors who are in most of the mob movies. Pastore is their Don every listen to him when he had the wise guy show on the radio. Funny He was good in Armand Assante's Gotti. I would not mind seeing Armand in another gangster flick. He must have known guys in the life. I posted on this before the real guys like this don't just walk like normal people. They bounce when they walk in those day you bop when you walk.

City island no more rich guys parking their yachts there any more? A duplex on the water----and there's water everywhere----will easily run you over a million and a half on City Island.

GOOD STUFF. Then I saw another guy in front of his house talking on the phone I mean yelling something was goin down it was great. So I got to see two wiseguys in one day lol. That was a treat for me Giggle

Agreed on Pastore. But some of those actors I absolutely love. Vincent Curatola is absolutely excellent in his non-mobster roles and I love seeing him pop up here and there when central casting needs a mob guy. Class act and well spoken, I've met him before.

Curators got heavy. He was on a show playing a judge. It was like the judge was a mob guy. It was a ridicules portrayal of a judge by him. Interesting take on that. I thought his role on The Good Wife was good. He kept the Brooklynese to a minimum. But even if you got that impression: I've been before many judges that talk/ act/ speak like tough guys.

Curatola was in a recent film called "Killing Them Softly," and he was significantly, heavier than his Sopranos days. It's on Netflix streaming; stars Brad Pitt, and James Gandolfini and Max Casella have smaller roles.

Found it a Most Violent Year. I should have dug it. It was about the home heating oil business in the 80s. I made money from it by going into abandon buildings in places like Bushwick. Taking it out and selling it to heat oil companies at a cut rate. They sold it to customers at a top rate. But This is about hyjacking heating oil trucks and selling the oil to other heating oil companies which is a lot easier then having to get it out of old buildings. I wonder if I ever thought about doing that? So now that I am awake. It is definately something I would see.
