Bruno was in jail from 1986 to 1998 and from 2008 to to today,18 years, and his will be released in 2023,it's 27 years in prison totally.

Peter Limone,b.1934,low level soldier He is best known for spending 33 years in prison after being falsely implicated in a gangland murder from 1968 to 2001.
Limone was given a total sum of $26 million. Although having gained such immense wealth, Limone once again became involved with the Patriarca crime family's Boston faction as he waited for his check in the mail. He refused to retire and end his association with the Patriarca organization, which had helped him and his family throughout the years he was locked away.

Matthew Madonna was made in 1998; which begs the question, who is the oldest guy to ever get made?

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

Who knows? But they have certainly inducted guys who were older than Matty was at the time.

I'd say Sonny Black. He knew he was going to be killed and not only didn't rat, but willingly went to his death. He could of ran away with his money to California or wherever and live life in hiding. Instead he accepted responsibility for what he did and willingly went to his death.

Let's say that again. He SERVED the guy who killed his dad. For 25yrs.
The guy who KILLED his dad, THEN FLIPS. Bruno still doesn't roll.
Bruno then gets done for MURDER.
And as an old man, takes his pintch.

That. Is serious gangster sh*t.

First guy I could think of, out of the recent mobsters pinched anyway.....

For me, I repeat is Peter Limone. Not only because he done 33 years without saying anything, but once out of prison in 2001 at 67, after receiving 26 million as compensation for being wrongly convicted, not only returned to the Patriarca family, but also become the boss, only that the Patriarcas is not the 5 families, and be the boss of a small family reduced to 30 made men, it's not easy as in Philly of NY,and also he don't retire despite the age of 80.

I did some research on Peter Limone after reading all those stories about him. Never heard of him before i heard about him from you guys, so i thank you guys for the information. He's one off my favorites now and i tell you, Peter Limone was the most LOYAL guy in the mob. Receiving $26 million dollars and going back to that life, means you are not only in it for the money like most of us would be. Respect for that and his fellow friends/members talked good about him, being a good man.

This is to no one in particular: But there are literally HUNDREDS of guys doing life who you've never even heard of.

Just some food for thought about these completely subjective threads wink.

I guess anyone's who's making serious money and staying out of jail is gonna be pretty loyal to the LCN way of life.

Old-school LCN true-believers like Carlo Gambino and Neil Dellacroce get my vote - great at controlling their mobsters, and serious money-makers. They were household names and public figures who still managed to stay out of jail, apart from Neil's five year tax evasion stint.

Half the people in the world would get done for tax evasion if the IRS looked into them closely enough.
