What mobsters in history were gay or rumoured to be gay?

I have heard a few rumours here and there, but I'm sure there are some guys on here who know way more about it than I do.

There have been rumours about Sammy Gravano, however they are just rumours.

In Murder Machine, they implied that Roy De Meo liked the company of all the young guys; Senter, Testa and Rosenberg, because they were handsome and young.

That isn't to say he had homosexual tendencies, just that he was reliving his youth.

I have been to Russo's. Some friends daughter got married during the power failure. So they held the wedding outside. Then went to Russo they had a generator so it was ok.

Off topic, but that's where a lot of them go off the rails. If you're gay you're gay. I don't really care one way or the other. But some of them love to claim that "everyone is a little bi-sexual," which is nonsense. But these people have to convince themselves of that just to get to sleep at night. It's called self-hatred .

Those are just the guys who came out and/or outed. Everything is not black and white. There are gay guys who are tough and would be drawn to that life. There are straight guys who can't fight their way out of a paper bag. There are Italians who don't like pasta. Irish who don't like alcohol. Asians who aren't good at Math....

There is undoubtedly a miniscule amount of gay/bi mobsters in New York but there is definitely approximately half a dozen.

Going by the statistics of how many NBA, NHL and soccer professionals are in the closet, then I would imagine at least 6 gay/bi mobsters out of a total of 1-1500 is not outlandish at all.

Doesn't necessarily mean he was gay. He might have liked them hanging around hoping they would bring young girls around. And I guess his guys were loyal almost to the end, nobody could get close enough to kill him until Gaspipe reached out to Testa. Doesn't matter anyway, he killed how many people? I don't know about D'Amato. Anthony Capo said that they killed him because D'Amato's girlfriend said that D'Amato and his girlfriend went to some club and D'Amato made out with a guy. Or something. All he said, she said stuff. For all we know it could have been made up bullshit because they wanted D'Amato gone. Isn't it possible they wanted him gone and needed an excuse, and there was no reason to suspect he was a rat? So they made something up. I can't believe every guy that got clipped was killed for the stated reason. A lot of treachery and deceit in that life.

Ray Argentina looks like a bit of a fag

Whitey Bulger have you seen the show Ray Donovan as yet on show time. On it during the last 5 episodes there is a Whitey Bulger character on it played by James Woods it was pretty good.

Another reason to see the show is Jon Voight he plays Rays father. Played a pretty good 70 year old street guy.
