There probably a drug crew operating around that area, they must have been doing pretty well for homeland securities el dorado task force to be involved because they are experts in money laundering cases.. i don't think every gang in new york is affiliated with blood and crips. They have been cracking down on a lot of these gangs.
most people are operating in a free market kind of environment, doesn't seem to many gangs around like the supreme team, pistol pete or any of those other crack era gangs. Theres been a steady decline in crack use and also the feds put the pressure on after pappy mason killed the cop in queens, theres probably only a few organisations that specialise in crack both at whole sale and street levels and make any real money off of it.
just watched a gangland on ane about pistolpete rollack it was pretty good when is the rich white people who run nyc just gonna steam roll that soundview projects in the Bronx. how come the yuppies havnt taken over the bx like it seems in Brooklyn. I did read back when dapper would post here a article saying parts of the south bx were the poorest place in America or someshit. but think of all the new highrises they could build on that land.

They are slowly moving into the Bronx as the rest of NYC becomes unaffordable for most, they are concentrating first on areas where subway access is quick and easy and its a relatively quick ride into Manhattan plus the added fact that rent is much more affordable as well. I know a number of "yuppies" who have bought condos/apartments on the Grand Concourse.
Tommy Shots: They want me running the family, don't they know I have a young wife? Sal Vitale: (laughs) Tommy, jump in, the water's fine.
