WARNING: HUGE SPOILER ALERT!!

OMG!!!

WHAT AN EPISODE!

Click to reveal..
First Herschel! Then the little girl. Then the Gov!
The acting on last nights episode was just outstanding. When Herschel was executed, the reaction by his two daughters was just heartbreaking. Then when Rick and Carl realize that the baby is gone and they see all of that blood in the baby seat, the reaction by both of them, especially by Carl, choked me up!
A very emotional episode.

What a episode is right. The next episode comes on Feb. 9th.

Click to reveal..
Why Hershel? I guess they are all separated for the time being. When the girls started screaming I was yelling NOOOOO!! I hope baby Judith is still alive somewhere. I was really surprised that they killed off the Gov and his GF shot him

Wow, what an episode, can't believe Hershel was killed off, he was one of my favorite characters. I wasn't surprised that The Gov died but the little girl dying was sad. I sure Judith is alive and was taken by the girls.. An action packed episode with so much too talk about..

In the comic book series, I was told Lori was still alive and she's running with Judith away from the attack. She is hit by the gun fire and when she falls to her death she smothers judith by falling on her. so be glad they spared us that. Now I am not saying I think Judith is dead. Last night was a crazy episode and I think the current question is how can they possibly regroup and survive when they suffered so much?

SPOILERS FROM DEC. 1 MID SEASON FINALE

I am still blown away by last night's episode. So much to talk. confused A few thoughts:

I didn't think the Governor would be killed off this soon BUT I am glad that it was Mishonne who speared him (tho Lily shot him afterward). Poor Rick had the crap beaten out of him. He barely made it. Carl should have taken the shot at the Governor while he could.

I am still wondering IF baby Judith is dead tho by all indications it seems to be the case. I try to avoid any spoilers from the comic book but did see somewhere a link to find out "what happens to baby Judith" in the comic books. I don't like spoilers so didn't click link.

Oh, and who do you think is responsible for the rats in the prison? At first I thought the Governor but seems like it's gotta be someone within the prison.

Plus, I expect Carol to show up somewhere.....maybe as a Walker???

I only read the very first issue of the comic books. I figured it would be ok to post about that comic book story factor since we all saw last nights episode. I wouldn't be surprised if Carol comes back and is a key leader in reuniting the group. Rick knows Carol is a survivor. I feel this episode be watched over and over as you can notice some new details that you didn't catch the first viewing.

Plus, from what I understand, the series does NOT follow the comic book exactly. I believe there are a couple characters in the show that are NOT in the comic books. Also, I've "heard" storylines are alteredchanged for the show for whatever reasons. confused At any rate...what a freekin' AWESOME show. smile

I thought the comics only covered Seasons 1-3? And they are supposed to be winging it from the start of this season? i may be wrong, but I thought I read that somewheres....

Oh, and I thought the Governor was a GREAT villain. I thought he might be around a bit longer.

My daughter has AT&T U-Verse and I have Time Warner. For whatever reason she gets the show EastCoast time (6:00 p.m) and I don't get it til 9:00 p.m. She teases the heck out of me cause she knows how much I love the show. She called as she was watching WD. She knows I don't like to know what happened but all she said was "OMG....call me at commercial!" lol

You may be right about that. I never even knew there was a comic of WD until last year. If true, I'm glad because then there can't be any spoilers from the comic.

Whe likes The Talking Dead, the show that follows Walking Dead? The actor who played Hershal was on after final episode, it turns out he played in some big roles as actor back in his time.

To all the WD fans who will be home New Year's Eve/Day. AMC is running ALL seasons, in order of WD both days, 24/7. If you have any favorite episodes you might want to tune in if you're home.
