I believe he is still in Los Angeles. He has several companies registered to him and his sister in the state of California. Although one company has phone numbers listed out of Miami so who knows.
It would make sense for NY to keep him out here because a) he has the stripes as underboss and 2) knows the lay of the land. The Gambinos need a point man in California as there are several made guys with restaurant investments here. Otherwise, Donnie Shacks would scoop it all up. I think donnie shacks is in new york now Nope he still lives in L.A. I know this because I have seen him 2x within the past 6 months.

The Los Angeles Family is dead. There are a few made guys out there but there is no Family. They are dead. A few left over made guys in a city DOES NOT constitute a Family.
The 10 active Families in America are as follows according to the Feds who know a hell of a lot in 2013 as compared to 30 years ago:
5 New York Families
Chicago
New England
Philadelphia
New Jersey
Detroit The only LA Family members still around are Tommy Gambino (probably switched to the Gambino Family), Lenny Montana and Michael Esposito. The rest of the living LA Family members have left LA. Milano's son in law is in Cleveland, Zangari somewhere out East or Florida, Caruso in Phoenix, Vaccarro in Vegas.

I only said that bc of the report that mush russo called him back to be the new acting underboss, but i havent heard anything else about it since the intial report, has any1 else?

Facts I have shows Tommaso Gambino was born in 1972. Rosario Gambino's son Tommaso A Gambino was born in 1974 and he is now 39. I know different articles have given different dates in them, one italian article said he was born in 1971. But i have seen the 1974 date several times and in 1995 at Rosario Gambino's first parole hearing his son Tommasso testified he was 10 years old when his father was arrested and that he was 21 years old at the time of the 1995 parole hearing. His own words, i have the transcript. Rosario Gambino was arrested in 1984 so if Tommy was 10 years old at the time of his arrest and was 21 at the time of the 1995 parole hearing that means he was born in 1974 matching other documents i have seen on him. If you check intelius on Tommaso A Gambino you'll see he is 39 now.
