Mild and sunny. I'm getting ready to pack that winter coat away.

When we decided to move from MI to CA I got rid of all our winter coats. I figured we'd never need them. I remember walking my daughter to school and seeing all these people (kids & adults) with heavy coats, scarves, etc. I'd laugh to myself thinking, what idiots. You call this cold? Hell, we were going to the beach in Oct./Nov. (as empty as they were that time of year, except for surfers) Afterall, 70 was summer to us.

Within two years or maybe less, I found myself getting cold very easily and didn't take long for me to become one of these "idiots" who is cold at 60 degrees.

When klyd puts away his winter clothes is usually my barometer to do so. Not this year, though. I see a very good chance for a late season snowstorm around March 21st.

I was on the phone with my daughter who asked me if I felt an earthquake. I did not feel anything. I didn't hear about it but haven't had news on. How big was it do you know?

About a 5.1 .... it was southeast of Moreno Valley in the desert.

Wow, I lived/worked in MV. It's about 30 miles east of me. I'm surprised I didn't feel anything. My daughter tho only about 10 miles from me is closer to MV. Perhaps that's why she felt it and I didn't.

Same here, was a strange day of Sun,snow and wind..

A winter coat!!! Would you believe i don't own a winter coat? I have a light weight jacket and a waterproof jacket and hood but no heavy coat. I just tend to wear hoodies and track suit tops. No wonder i am always poorly......

It's cold but such a beautiful blue sky it is hurting my eyes to look at!!

Who the hell knows I have not been outside since I was brought in the emergency room on March 3. I don't even remember that. My wife did tell me the cops had to cuff me to get me out of the house after the ambulance came.

Leg infections 4 times in six years.

I've had a gray Columbia coat for years for when the temps get really frigid, and a more formal black overcoat, which I never wear.

And SC considers the storage of Klyd's winter coat a better harbinger of spring than the groundhog or a red robin.

What's the weather like? I just looked outside and it's fucking snowing AGAIN. I am so sick and tired of this winter. I am one snowflake away from either A. Raging alcoholism or B. The need for anti-depressants. Not sure which way I'll topple, but it's going to happen soon.

Been snowing for most of the day, but doesn't seem to be settling as it's too windy and the ground is wet.

Freakin' Weather Channel competes with itself... probably so it's never wrong.

Site says 3-5", its own app says 1-2" at the same place/time... and glancing at the map (not as a meteorologist, of course), I'm with the latter.

I just want a Spring like I remembered as a youth.. not this Winter into Summer b.s.! But a month or two of mild temps... rather than 30° then 80°

Cold. Even by miserable north east England standards it is rotten. Freezing cold, icy wind chill, snow flurries that hurt your face...and oh did i mention,it's f*****g cold
