They are advertising that the Sunday episode of WD will be in Black & White. I understand that it gives it a certain classic atmosphere but I still prefer color. ohwell

Me too DeNiro. Some of the previews they've been showing look pretty good.

Not positive if it will be the very first episode in black & white but they advertised some will be. Wasn't clear. confused

Thanks DD. I don't know why but it was confusing. I KNEW some episodes w/b in black & white. grin

Btw, I got my daughter & SIL interested in WD. They have seen some episodes from season 2 only, yesterday. It can be confusing without seeing it from the beginning. I'll let them know this schedule.

Thanks

SPOILERS For Season 3 Mid-season episode

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first to post on last night's mid-season episode. uhwhat Though not as disappointed as the person who wrote this piece, I was kind of let down. Don't know exactly why.

http://io9.com/5983346/the-walking-deads...dium=socialflow

SPOILERS

Poor Glen, looked like a wreck didn't he? Glad he and Maggie got rescued finally.

The Governor seems to have snapped and become even more scary suddenly not caring about "his" people. And Andrea has GOT to get out of his grip.

Though I do think he'll be back I hated to see Daryl leave with that asshole brother of his BUT I can see both Rick's and Daryl's side (after all it is his brother). That for me, was probably the most notable event in the episode. Daryl is becoming one of my favorite characters on the show.

I hope the ghost Lori doesn't go much further, cause even for a zombie show, it IS a little bit out there. I took those phone calls that Rick got as his "therapy" helping thru the healing process.

All that being said, it is only one episode and I don't think it was a bad episode. After the last couple excellent episodes before the break, maybe I expected more.

Looking forward to my fellow WD fans opinions.

I have mixed feelings about Merle being in the group. On one hand they could use his help but on the other can he really be trusted?

Rick is really losing it. He don't want the new people with the group Why? or Michonne. She's an asset imo. Still loving Herschel.

Glad that Glen still has a set. The Gov is still a douche. Feel sorry for Carl. All the crap he's been through losing his Mom and his Dad turning looney.

Andrea needs to get her head on straight and get the heck away from that douche.

I agree with all of the above, Merle can not be let back into the group as he cant be trusted. Overall i think it was a good episode..

I agree with Mig as far as that new group of people that they are keeping locked up, I think all but the one guy who wanted to kill everyone and take over, seem alright to me. Mishone IS a good guy (girl) and I think once Andrea gets back in them mix (I think she will) she'll let Rick and the group know Mishone is can be trusted.

Daryl IMHO probably will have a falling out with his brother. I mean how long would that take? lol They really are two different and hopefully he'll return as well. I just can't see any logical reason though to let Merle in the mix. The guy's a real asshole. I wouldn't trust him at all.

I fell asleep during "Talking Dead" which was an hour this week. I'm gonna try to catch it soon. Glen (forgot actor's name) is a guest.

I'm sure we'll see Daryl back with the group soon, the only character i would not miss if she was to be killed off would be Andrea. Gets annoying by the episode, she should have escaped with Daryl and merle..

I really liked Andrea but if she sticks with the Governor, she's not as strong a character as I thought. Then again, I take the Governor as a Jim Jones type guy who's followers blindly trust him. Maybe Andrea is the same. confused

Anyway, I too, like having Rick in charge but he does need to get his shit together. Darryl was a great asset killing Walkers alone. He'll be missed by the group without a doubt.

One other thing that bothers me in the WD is how they never seen to run out of ammo, they seem to use lots but never mention there running low..There must be a big stash at the prison..

Well they do make constant run for supplies. I'm assuming that includes ammo. Must be ammo shops throughout the area no? But yea, when the first found the prison didn't they say they had a decent ammo supply? confused Plus, Darryl has to be getting arrows from somewhere OR does he make them now that I think about it? Out of wood or something? confused

I remember seeing Daryl making arrows in season two, but not for a while. In the last episode Daryl did have a bag of arrows on his back when leaving with his brother, not sure when he had time to make them..

I was also a little letdown after the episode, maybe it was because we waited impatiently for it for so long our expectations were too high. IDK

Rick is going wacko, getting tired of them wasting time on this during the show.

I agree Darryl and Merle will probably have a falling out, hopefully Darryl doesnt get killed.

I am interested to see how the new characters in the prison (Tyreese) are developed (or killed).

The Governor and his storyline keeps getting more and more interesting IMO.

Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if she becomes a surrogate mother of sorts for Rick's baby and then tries to sleep with Rick. Would be interesting to watch. I am tired of the whole Rick/Lori flashback crap.

I can't figure out why she is staying with this man. Is it because they are lovers and she don't want to give that up?

Did we ever find out who the father of the baby is?

I think the father of the baby is Shane and Rick prob knows it too.

I think it could be either Rick or Shane's baby. The storyline would make it more interesting, however, if it was Shane's. smile Don't know IF there will be a way we'd be able to tell as the story unfolds. Then again, remember Lori telling Rick and Shane "it's Rick's baby no matter what?" Maybe she really felt it was Shane's. confused

There's no need to bring this story up in anycase as the mother and father are both dead..I think that story has passed..
