Good News. A-Hole is going in for hip surgery and he'll be out til June. Hopefully the Yankees can build a 20 game lead before Dud comes back....maybe he will retire.

I heard about this and like you, I was immediately happy. Sad, huh? What's even worse is he still has 4 more seasons after next!

I don't understand it. They let Chavez walk for $3 million, and sign Youkillis and his bad back for $12. Chavez had a much better year, and is only a year older.

That Brian Cashman is some kind of great GM. He couldn't shine Gene Michaels toe nail.

Maybe the Yankees can start up that Senior League that Graig Nettles was trying to start.

Curtis Granderson took one in the arm today. First at bat of the pre-season, I believe. Broken arm. He's out until at least the end of May. Huge loss in an already anemic lineup.

To be honest when a speed guy strikes out over 100 times a year it's never a good thing. You look at hard numbers his value goes way down. His LOB number very high also! Limited range and arm! Bottom line the numbers he produce does exceed to the numbers he allows between K's, arm/ range and runners stranded!
At the end of the day and Ok player, who is over valued because he's a Yankee. Just sucks because we have limited depth in the Minors to replace him!

Wow, so Granderson's out for 10 weeks already. Not a good start to the season. I think he's gone after this year anyways but this lineup is getting thinner by the day unfortunately.
