Giants and Jets used up all of NYC's mojo between them, and left the Yanks sitting there like Samson with a crew cut.

Nice metaphor.... or is that a simile? How's Spittsburgh this year? Thanks for checking in to the Big Blue Thread.

When the Skins went ahead with 1:30 left (approx.), my wife voiced her displeasure. I said not to worry; plenty of time for Eli. When they scored on the second play, I got worried....enough time for RGIII. If he stays healthy ..?... He's a polished Michael Vick.

The G's gave up too many rushing yards. That Morris is a beast.

What was Bradshaw's rant about?

On the bright side: Offense was awful. Eli was awful. Defense was awful. Special Teams was beyond awful. ....And the Giants still almost won the game.

I really think the storm affected all areas of their game mentally and physically. Their whole week or preparation was screwed up, and some of the players couldn't even live in their homes. It's rare for the Giants that the whole team plays terrible at one time.

It's one game. And at least "she" isn't a rapist tongue.

At least the Cowboys and Skins lost. The Eagles can still lose tonight. The Giants maintain a stranglehold on the division.

It's regular season losses that separate the men from the boys. So let's hope for the best from here on out smile.

The offense was bad as their best plays were pass interference calls, and I was surprised that the Steelers were able to run all over them. The Giants capitalized on the fumble return, which kept them close. They didn't seem to be the same team and when the Steelers were down by ten, I thought they'd come back because of the Giants' difficulty moving the ball.

I'm glad I didn't watch the game. I played with the grandkids all afternoon; then had 2 Belvedere martinis.

It's nice to have a guest commentator for the Big Blue thread, isn't it? whistle

I'm ashamed to admit that I almost missed the game because of the 4:30pm start. I started doing some things around the house, my kids were out, and my wife (a die hard Giants fan) was visiting some family. I forgot about the game until I flipped through the channels and saw kickoff time was here.

Don't worry, Giants fans. You'll be fine the rest of the way, especially in the playoffs.

At least i got to see Dallas get beat as well!!!

I prefer judgement myself, but WTF, the English language is fading away, anyway. Did you know cursive writing will soon be a lost form of communication? But who cares as long as you are true to Big Blue.

I've heard that and kind of understand why, but it still boggles the mind. My kids have told me that handwritten notes in cursive look so old-fashioned.

There's no reason to even discuss the last game. The Bye couldn't have come at a better time.

Great win! clap

The Giants seem to play up or down to the competition. But being that the Niners and the Pack are the two best NFC teams they've played this year---and they SPANKED them both---I'd say they're still the team to beat in the NFC.

Here's hoping! smile

Amen to that PB. They are a bit schizo. Let hope they dole out a few more SPANKINS.
