He was a bigtime junkie and was robbing a house looking for the guys drug stash. I think it was an off duty cop who interrupted them and Lilo's partner in crime shot and killed the cop.

Brancato is eligible for parole in 2014.

I read somewhere that he was in the same dorm with Plaxico Burress. I'm trying my best not to picture Plax porking him. But then, I'm a Giants fan.

when i first saw this as a kid with my dad, I liked it.
I did a rewatch recently and this was after I read that the DBag who plays Calogero is a drug addicted cop killer(or accomplice to a cop killer) I just cant dig it.
Also not too fond of Palminteri as the mobster. Dont really know why it just didnt seem right.

Pizza Boy @ - Chazz Palminteri had said in several of his Interviews that his Life was put together from A Bronx Tale, According to him he did witness a killing. I know that he grew up around The Bronx and saw several Wise Guys. Chazz's dad was also a Bus Driver named Calogero like Robert De Niro, though I think he didn't came as far as his Associate in crime, maybe he did. No one has asked him this and he has never brought it up, only that he saw a killing in the streets and No "Ratting" was allowed, so I do think he was asked by Police that who was the shooter. More than likely he was a good friend of his, What organization did Jo Jo The Whale belong to. Several "Gangsters" now have no file and some people aren't even aware of old time gangsters, like I saw yesterday on these forums. A powerful Irish Gang was about and yet I wasn't even aware.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOxwSVHcA6s - Enjoy! Chazz Palminteri is also on Facebook.. Good guy that he is. I saw an Interview which he was in, most of the interviewers are a bunch of gay pricks. lol

@Imamobguy... thanks for the info! Didn't know those facts which is kind of cool when I re-watched a Bronx Tale this past weekend. Stuff like this that make things a bit more interesting.

Interesting facts just to nitpick a bit Calogero was actually Deniros son Deniro is called Lorenzo in A Bronx Tale.

Jo Jo the Whale was loosely based on Louis "Fat Gigi" Inglese," who was with the Lucchese Family. I've posted that several times on this site.

Louie Inglese had a file a mile long. He just couldn't keep himself out of prison.

Yes. I knew that Louis Inglese was involved in drugs especially in the French Connection, so I guess he was involved with Carmine Tramunti.

Do you remember in "Goodfellas," when Paulie says to Henry, "Gribbs got 20 years just for saying hello to some fuck who was sneaking behind his back selling junk"?

Well, the guy sneaking around behind his back was Louie Inglese. He nodded his head at him in a public place and that was all they needed to give the guy fifteen years.

But Tramunti outsmarted the Feds. He died after only five years inside.

Yes. I do agree with Paul though. You don't want your best man going away for life by just holding a pack of green (HASH).

The best man is that a new position in the hireachy of the LCN Structure now?

I would think the best man would not actually be holding or handling a "pack".In the wire when McNulty says to one his partners in the Baltimore PD "You'll never catch stringer bell in the same room with drugs."

You'd be surprised Dicknose. Some of the best men now are involved in the Drug business. I think it's the biggest moneymaker in business.

I guess you could say that it was one of my favorite shows because not just the crime aspect of the show but the whole political arena prepping politicians to step up or down whether it was law enforcement or the mayors office. Also they show the viewer the inner city life how some kids like Michael for example are smart but he had to stray away from boxing and school to support bug, since his momma's sucking on that glass d^^k like pookie in New Jack
