I recently read an article about Scott Favara the son of John favara where he talks about not having a grave to visit his father for father's day. The favara family has kept quite all these years and have really taken a beating from members of the gotti family(mostly the two Victoria's). But Now since news of the gotti movie has come up Scott favara has finally come forward to tell the true side of what happened. It is a good article and makes you wonder how sick Victoria sr and jr are since both of them basically asked John Sr to kill the guy. Article is below.

If some reckless idiotic driver killed my son and then taunted me about it afterwards, I'd probably want him dead. You wonder how sick John Favara may or may not have been.

Who knows what really happened?

But I find it very hard to believe that Favara was taunting the parents of a dead child. A child that he accidentally killed. The child of a then mob captain. Especially in a neighborhood like Howard Beach.

If it were my kid, I wouldn't shed any tears for the guy if he died. But if it was truly an accident, and if he was truly contrite about it, and if he wasn't drunk (as Victoria claims), then killing the guy was a pretty evil thing to do.

Yeah, I also find it hard to believe that Favara did that. Think about it. Even if he was a heartless prick, which there's no evidence to show he was, he'd have to be crazy to do that to the family of a mobster. He'd know he was already on thin ice. It's more probable those stories about Favara are just the Gottis trying to justify themselves and what happened to him.

I agree with pizza and ivey. Why would he do those things? He reached out to connected people and he was selling his house. What evidence is there to prove he was an a-hole besides the Gottis and we have seen how they have acted in the past. Look how much Victoria Jr ran her mouth. I always felt bad for this family and this story in general. Maybe Favara could have handled some things differently but who really knows. It was an accident and no one should be murdered because of an accident.

We don't know what happened. Gotti and Favara are probably right now laughing about the whole thing in the afterlife, barbecuing and watching Frankie Boy play in his sandbox.

I don't believe in the afterlife either, but the more Arthur Spooner clips I watch, the more spaced out my comments get.

Yeah, why would Gotti and Favara end up in the same place?

Well, if God exists and Jesus is the way to him, then I'm sure they're both roasting in hell. Maybe not side by side, but close by. Keep in mind, they both lived in Howard Beach!

God is a reasonably person. Fellow mobsters and stone cold killers can request to share the same room in after life. I know this, because Jesus told me in one of my dreams.

One time, Jesus appeared to me in the shower and started chuckling. It was cruel and humiliating.

If there is an afterlife, Gotti is probably hiding from Carlo Gambino.

I read in a book by exaggerating hitman, Donald Frankos, "Contract Killer" that Gotti Sr. knew that the death of Frankie really was an accident, he was angry, but knew Favara was a civilian and did not do this on purpose and had Gotti Sr. had actually disciplined the child on riding out into the street with that bike.

After the child's death, Gotti Sr. was angry, however it was Victoria Sr., provoked John into killing Favara

You are right about Victoria Sr she was one ugly heartless broad. But I do believe gotti didn't care if favara was a civilian or not

According to John's daughter, Victoria, he was dead set against doing something to Favara. Nobody knows what really happened, but he probably felt forced to do something about it. How would it look to the people in his family and other families if big bad ass John Gotti didn't do anything in this situation.

Victoria is not exactly the most reliable source. I believe Gotti jr a hell of a lot more than her and he is a murderer

I believe her when she says her father was dead set against it. She doesn't know what happened. Like I said, he probably felt forced to do it. Everybody knows it was an accident, but him being who he is, you can't just sit back and let this guy drive around in the car that killed your son. It wasn't a matter of getting even. It was a matter of how it looked and John Gotti couldn't afford to look like a punk.

I agree with you that john gotti killed the guy to save face since the the mafia you can't let a guy who kills your son walk but I don't think gotti ever felt he was forced to do it. Gotti knew exactly what he wanted to do to Favara the second he learned about his son's death. Gotti knew he couldn't do anything right away since the fbi were waiting for him to do something to favar so he waited a few months then took a vacation to florida in order to create an alibi

I have to agree with Vinny here. I can empathize with the son and all but the guy was driving recklessly. Think of how you would feel if it was your son, brother or father who was killed by a reckless driver before you judge the Gotti's.

Before you praise the gotti's you gotta remember that the gotti's are the only ones who claim that he was drunk and driving reckless. The kid darted out from behind a dumpster that was in the middle of the street and the guy had no time to react. It could happen to anybody even the most careful driver

There were a lot of people who said he was a reckless driver. It wasn't just the Gottis. Now, I don't know if the guy actually taunted them, but I do know he never fixed his car and he kept driving it. I, personally think that is a sick thing to do and it's even sicker if you take into consideration who the kid was. The guy had four months to leave the area. If it had been me, I would've been gone that very day.

I blame Favara for the Kennedy murder. He was in Dealey that day! I can feel it.

As Vinny said, he did NOT repair his car which the Gotti's saw almost daily and many others involved besides the Gotti's and including ancillary police officers have claimed speed was a factor. Furthermore, if he knew the sun was in his eyes he should have been exceedingly vigilant. Additionally he knew kids played in the area and should have exercised extreme caution, especially with the sun in his eyes. Again, if your kids lived on that street wouldn't you hope drivers would slow down and be extra careful knowing kids are around? It's not as though Favara was a stranger just passing through, he lived there and knew children, including his own and the Gotti's played in the area.

Some people on this board seem to be suggesting this....as insane as it is.

The only person who knows what truly happened was Favara. The Gotti women have proven themselves to be mob apologists and all around liars over the years, but you can understand their bitterness towards the guy.

As far as John Gotti: Even if he was wrong in killing Favara, karma got him in the end. He died a ten year miserable death in prison. The Favara family can take solace in that.

So the same way that you empathize with Frank Gotti's family for their bitterness, that's the way you should empathize with John Favara'a family for theirs. If John Favara were my father, those pictures of a cancer ridden John Gotti rotting in jail would make me absolutely fucking giddy.

Actually, my wife recently switched me to All Bran cereal. The turds shoot out so clean and smooth lately, I don't even have to wipe. It's a beautiful thing.
