He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!"
So what’s the labyrinth?
That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?
WTF?? Yes, I won it 3 times out of about the 10-12 times I played. Why the hell would I lie about it?
You don't "win" until the cat ends up on one circle, so they got all filled in. Then, no fireworks or anything, it just went to another one.
Here's a tip: Work from the outside in. You don't want the cat to get too close to where you are. As soon as you determine its direction, try to cover it (but kinda far from it). And don't let it get too close to the edge or you're effed.
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol

Took a while, but I've won a couple of times too. It's actually easy once you figure out the strategy and pay attention. One wrong move and kitty is set free...!!!
My 10yr old appears to be the smart one in the family...she circled the cat on her 5th try.

Mig, start putting dots very far away from the cat. Put the first dot in a direction that has relatively less/no dots. Only the initial direction is unpredictable. After that, the cat pretty much has set options. I got it after 5-6 attempts.

Don't feel badly Mig. I suck at it too. I've only played a few times, but Svsg's advice does help. I think I "was" trying to get to close too soon. Of course, I'm still not winning.
