Lilo, I've never understood how anyone could harm a child. It is beyond my comprehension. I understand that most abusers were abused as children. To me, it would seem logical that, knowing the pain involved, they would be the least likely to abuse, but I guess it just doesn't work that way.

I also saw on the news today that a California man killed his entire family (wife and five children) this morning. He sent a fax to a local TV station saying that he and his wife had both lost their jobs and were killing their children and then themselves. The police seem to think that the wife was a victim and not in on the plan.

How funny!! I got home from work yesterday and jumped in the shower (I had to wash my hair, or I'd take a hot bath). Anyway, my condo had NO hot water either. I hated it. As I was getting my hair wet I'm saying "shit, shit, burr, damn, f..." It was awful. You know how I hate being cold.


This morning when I woke up, still no hot water. I called the association who told me that several buildings in my complex were without hot water and that they got tons of calls. Gee, ya think??? The lady was nice as she told me that normally when there is any work done and the water needs to be shut off, all the people get a notice. Well, the repair people took it upon themsleves to just start the work without any notificaion. I hate hate hate cold showers. Thank God, the water is nice and hot tonight.
Maybe your apartment and my condo have the same management. LOL

I don't know about NoCal but down here, any rain, be it sprinkles or storms, people just can NOT handle it. Traffic slows to a crawl. One thing I can't handle is the fog. It's pretty scary. I have this thing where I like to "see" where I'm going.

I posted a while back that one of my bestest friends was emigrating to New Zealand?

Well he goes tomorrow. I saw him today for what could be the last time in the forseeable future. It was a sad moment. We go back years,he is the godfather to one of my boys and i am going to miss him.
I am glad for him,even a bit envious,but i am going to miss him big style

P.S. It is costing him and his wife a thousand pounds to send their cat over
