Imagine all that cheese in your system! My cholesterol would spike to 400.

BTW, I just finished my lunch. Reheated Fettucine Carbonara direct from the kitchen of Ms. MaryCas, the best cook south of the Mullica River.

Oh, that's MUCH healthier. Pancetta and egg - that won't do a thing to your cholesterol. tongue

I'm in the middle of doing my omelate with peppers, frankfurters, spinach and worcester sauce. It's amazing. Although I've got no cheese to top it off with. Booo.

Too true, Turi (try saying THAT ten times fast). An omelette without cheese is like a day without sunshine.

It only spiked to 300, but it was worth it. When I got home I ran 2 miles, had a martini and 2 glasses of wine. I feel better now. grin

Really good spaghetti carbonara is worth the risk, especially if it's homemade.

I just had a Peperami. It was like there was a party in my mouth, and everyone was having sex. It is a bit of an animal.

I've just had a firestick peperami. It was like there was a party in my mouth, but everyone were arsonists. It is a bit of an animal.

I have never heard of peperami. Is it like pepperoni and salami at once??

It's quite possibly the best sausage based snack ever. As far as I know it's a mixture of the two. I went nuts recently and bought about 20 multipacks recently (because they were half price and because they're cured they keep for a while).

I think we need to start carrying those in the US. They DO look they'd be a party in your mouth.

If you ever see them they're so worth trying. I've never actually had the mini one's on the picture because I get the footlong ones in multipacks. Not surprisingly they don't sell the multipack firestick peperami's anymore. I'm nearly crying after one of those.

Just wanted to thank Santino_Brasi for all the recipes smile It must be discouraging to see no replies to any of the recipe threads. Someday I'll try out one of your veggie recipes.

No Problem my friend, yes, it is a bit discouraging

He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!"

So what’s the labyrinth?

That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

Santino, send me some of the food you make via express air mail. I'm starving and haven't eaten in days.
