why are there book chapters and book numbers???
also i am doing a research report on Mario Puzo and comparing the book and the movie so if you guys have any info can you please help me.

Well, in most of the books Ive read, the chapters are numbered. rolleyes As for the book being devided into "books" it just sepperates diffrent storylines.
