What if....Michael didn't agree with the fact that there was a driver at time of the meeting with Sollozzo/McCluskey. Because the negotiator didn't talk about this. Michael would gone back to his house and there probably would have been an all out war?

I don't think Michael cared that there was a driver along. He knew he was going to kill Sollozzo and McCluskey...He wanted to kill them. When he came out of the restaurant, "Sollozzo's car was parked at the curb still, but there was no sign of the driver."
I always assumed that Tessio, who was waiting around the corner and who picked Mike up, took care of the guy.

i think you're right there plawrence. who else would have done so? and the driver certainly wouldn't have walked away.
