Why don't you just start with The Godfather.

So ... you're saying you HAVE read The Godfather just not any other Puzo novels and you want advice on which to start with?

Or you have never read any Puzo book including The Godfather, but don't want to start with that one because you know what it's about?

Fair enough.

So then while you're awaiting advice in response to your query, it might be a good idea to check out some of the other threads in this forum, which pretty much weigh Puzo's 'other' novels against each other.

Hova4Ever9,
I would suggest you start with Puzo's first novel, "The Dark Arena". It is a very good read, and offers something different to The Godfather.
After all - what better place to start than the beginning?

Regards.

Well Puzo's Mafia books start with The Godfather then there are two other families in The Last Don and Omerta,The Last Don tells the story of the Clericuzo family (I think thats how you spell it,and Omerta tells the story of the Aprile family. But if you not looking for Mafia books I'd suggest The Fourth K.
