Yeah it would have, the new stadium is HUGE compared to the RCA dome. I love the way the exterior looks too. All the new features, retractable roof and all that. It was cool to see it progress here and there on my trips to Indy.

I hear we got even better noise machines too ;\)

John Daly should really quit drinking. It's getting kind of old.

John Daly quitting drinking would be like Keith Richards quitting smoking and becoming a vegan.

I swear, I read that as "...and becoming a virgin". Although in this context, that could work, too.

Man, the Raptors were historically bad yesterday against the Nuggets. We need Chris Bosh back, and soon.

If any of you have HBO, you MUST watch the special they've been airing on Joe Louis, the heavyweight boxing champ of the 30's/40's.

Its an hour and fifteen minutes well spent.

I guess things could be worse for Raptor fans, we could be Sonic fans. Not only are they nowhere close to sniffing the playoffs, they might lose their team to Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Sonics?

Ugh.

This is one of the reasons I can't watch the NBA now. Too many teams moving around. No more Charlotte Hornets (Alonzo Mourning, Larry Johnson, Mugsy Bogues...), etc.

When they first wanted Elvis on a stamp, the conservatives were up in arms, protesting even. And that was fucking Elvis... a fucking icon!

This is what the 2 cent a year increase is for?

What a joke.

No it wasn't.

Did anyone watch the Washington Nationals game last night? I only caught the last few innings, but somebody told me that President Bush was booed when he threw out the first pitch.

I watched it. Yes, Bush was sent home with his head hung low. (Sorry Mrs. Bush). He got booed royally. It was lovely. \:\) I laughed so hard I almost fell off the couch.

The announcers had him in the booth for a couple innings, so I had to put the tv on mute then.

Washington beat The Braves in the first game of their new stadium. Go Nats.

Better than them skanky O's who lost to Devil Rays...oops, I mean Rays. The game started at 3:00, and it was in the 9th inning by the time I got home. I don't know why they bother. Why doesn't Angelos just sell the misfits. Hey, does Virginia or West Virginia want a team?

Congrats on the Nats win, Beth. Nice walk-off home run by Zimmerman.

Colts open their new stadium against Da Bears.

DON'T KICK IT TO HESTER!

....I got a Colts XLI champions hat for $2 yesterday. Giants fans, wait a year and you can get Super Bowl merchandise incredibly cheap. I got a Marvin Harrison bobblehead with the championship ring at the bottom for $10, it was $25 before this super bowl.

Most of the pundits have The Tigers picked as being big contenders this season. They've lost their first two games....to Kansas City. \:o
