Why did Tony become the leader/boss of his drugsorganisation? Why not Manny? He had the contacts....(the man who ordered the emilio rebenga hit, omar suarez, frank lopez, waldo rojas).
So why? I suppose there isn't a reason, that's just the way the story goes....
But maybe someone has a answer.

Tony was much more agressive in he's way of negotiate. Manny did not have the same ambiciance (sorry spelling) as Tony. Tony Wanted the world and everything in it. Manny wanted cool cash, and ladies... Just a teory, but so i think

Tony was willing to stop at nothing to get what he wanted in life. Tony would never be happy working for someone as his personality was to be the leader and have it all. Manny on the other hand would have been very content with a job. We see that in several scenes, including the one where Omar is in the car and wants to pay them peanuts for the columbian drug deal. It's Tony who argues with Omar and gets them more money for the job and Manny gets annoyed with Tony for taking on Omar. When the job is done it's Tony who is the one who tells Omar that he ( Tony ) will take the money and the coke directly to Frank himself. When they are in Franks house it's TOny who is impressed with what Frank had, Tony who is looking around the house and spot Elvira. At that very moment Tony realized what he wanted, what he had to have, including Elvira, and would stop at nothing to get to the top. Many was a follower, Tony a leader.

Don't you remember the seen when he Manny Ray I is telling him about that Sidelbum and he says that he will take care of it and Tony says no that he thinks to much about women and money and that he is not a nogotator which is true he only though about pu**y not business like tony did. Not that pu**y is a bad thing you need a mix of money pu**y and power.

If you look at Tony he is so much more in control. He had to be the main man because he would not be able to take orders from anyone else. I cant imagine tony taking orders from Manny. When Tony got to America he knew that he would make it big or die trying. He was not going to let anyone stop him.

I woke up this morning with nothing to do and went to bed with only half of it done.

Don Smitty- I don't have the scarface DVD handy and I'm blanking on the beginning so hopefully you or someone can answer this.

Is manny the guy he comes to America with? and if not then who does he come over with?

If it is Manny he came over with then you can tell right from the beginning that Tony was always the one in control and Manny was a follower. If it wasn't then disregard what I just said lol.

Tony : "I didn't tell chu sanitation! I told chu, to tell them, dat chu was in, a sanitarium!" lol
