Yesterday I was browsing around The Sopranos part of the board when I found this thread: http://www.gangsterbb.net/threads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=214291&page=17#Post214291

I began reading the chapters/episodes, which are written by Capo de La Cosa Nostra. I'm currently at the 3rd episode of the "season". So that thread and idea really inspired me to write my own similar story or season. All I've planned out to so far is that a lot of the show will take place in flashbacks to Tony as he grew up with his family, and how he made his "bones". It will also continue on from where Season 6 Part II ended. With new characters, and the Carlo Gervasi testimony will play a huge part in this season. I've actually already written the first episode, but it will undergo some changes before I post it next Sunday. As for the length of the "season" I think I'll make it longer than the 13 we usually got in the regular seasons.

So if you really miss The Sopranos, maybe this will make you look foward to Sunday nights again.
So await the first episode in my version of a 7th Season of The Sopranos, NEXT SUNDAY.

Ya. Don't expect to see much of it. My treatment ended up a mess. It's a long story anyways, just look foward to this one. I'll actually get it done.. ;\)

I was gonna post my Godfather IV script too, but like yours, it became a mess.

My idea for a Sopranos movie was kinda out there...

Carlo is tracked down and killed very quickley in the script. Sil is back as Consigliere (in a wheel chair). Paulie is struggling being a Capo and Underboss, causing stress + weight gain. Larry is finally done with house arrest and wants his turf back. Junior has died. Patsy's ego is becoming too large for some family members. Two new Capos emerge for the Baccaliere and Curto crews. Butch DeConcini has trouble making friends with commission. The don of Philly offers Tony two of his Atlantic City casinos because "he wants out", but his young Underboss reaches out to Butch during the same time.

Janice tries to keep custody of Bobby's kids. Meadow feels she has made a mistake leaving for law. AJ's manages to screw up again, but Tony won't be so forgiving this time. Carmela comes to some realizaions over some missing people.

Well the season I have in mind so far is going to take a different direction than any of the previous things we saw with the Sopranos. All I can tell you is that the Soprano crime family crew will be mostly demolished by the end of the first episode...

Don't forget, the First Episode will be avaliable this Sunday night. Sometime around 6-8 pm EST...

Here we go, the first Episode of my "Season opener" in my version of a 7th Season of The Sopranos. I hope you all enjoy it.

EPISODE 87 – CORRADO
RUNNING TIME: 40 minutes

The episode opens with the famous title sequence and music that we have all come to love.

After the title sequence we fade into a hallway. A man, unknown is walking in the hallway of a hospital. The camera zooms out to reveal the face of, Tony Soprano. Tony stops at a room on his left. Silvio Dante is lying down in his bed, unconscious. Tony grabs a chair and takes a seat next to him. A tear drops down his eye, seeing his childhood friend lying their, knowing nothing, seeing nothing, living in another world.

NEW JERSEY, 1971

A young, 12 year old Tony Soprano is wondering the streets of Jersey. He might have been 12 years old, but the way he looked, you’d think he was 22, not 12. He stops walking as his eye catches the sight of another young kid, maybe a little younger than Tony. Tony runs over to the kid who is practicing playing a guitar. Tony clasped the guitar with both hands and smacked the kids head with it. The boy falls over to the ground, in terrible pain. He gets up and punches Tony, who is tripped over and falls on the ground, both boys continue there fighting until a car finally stops and picks up Tony. It’s Johnny Boy’s car.

“The kid got 20 stitches. 20 fucking stitches, what are we going to do now, ha?”
Johnny Soprano was obviously a little high tempered right now. “The kids a fucking orphan, he owed you 12 bucks, so what?”
Tony is seated opposite Johnny on the sofa. He pretends he is paying attention, just to get the hell out of their as fast a possible.

NEW JERSEY, 2007

Back at the hospital Tony grins at his thought. It was only the second time he had met Silvio.

In front a safe house three dark colored cars come to stop. Six men exit each car, and one of them is Carlo Gervasi. The five other men make sure he makes it to the safe house in one piece, and only four of the men come back to the cars. The other two stayed, to guard him.

The next morning at BADA BING Tony, Paulie and Patsy discuss Silvio’s conditions. “The poor guy, he could be gonna any second now. Very sad to thing about, Ton,” where Patsy’s words about Silvio. While Paulie continued to play pool. The door of Ton’s office knocked, and Benny Fazio entered with their breakfast. Patsy thanks him, and he asks Tony is he wants anything else. Tony tells him he doesn’t and Benny leaves. “So hard would it be for us to get Carlo?” Tony asks Paulie, and Patsy. Patsy tells him he that Carlo is being transported in very high security, and it would be hard to get “the prick”. Paulie bites a peace of his sandwich, and takes a seat in front of Tony, and tells him he we try and follow the cars and see exactly when, and how they leave.

Los Angeles. Hollywood. Beverly Hills. What more could you ask for? Well, AJ obviously could. At his hotel room, AJ is awakened by the knock on the door. He opens up and it’s Morgan Yam, the director of Little Carmine’s new movie, and AJ is the development executive. Morgan tells him Carmine’s waiting for him at the breakfast lounge. Frowning, AJ shuts the door, and gets himself into some clothes.
The Lounge was huge, hundreds of people where having their breakfast. AJ and Morgan both walked over to Carmine Jr.’s table, where they both take a seat. Carmine stops reading a script he was obviously enjoying. “I got to tell you Morgan, this is the best porn script I’ve ever read.” AJ roles his eyes, after hearing Carmine’s words, “they use scripts for porn?”
Carmine turns to AJ, “Of course, we use scripts for everything. How would you know when to—“ AJ interrupts Carmine by telling “He doesn’t give a shit how these scripts are written.” Carmine Jr. finally announces that production on the film is officially underway, and that the actors have all been selected, filming will begin next week.

It was a cold night, and Uncle Junior sat in his room’s balcony, on his wheel chair, we a supervisor behind him. He began shivering unnoticeably, and he falls asleep. The doctor notices that he slept, and walks out to the balcony to take him back in. As she pulls the wheel chair back into the room, Uncle Junior’s body fell on the ground.

At The Sopranos house, Meadow and Carmela were both watching a show on TV when their home phone rang. Carmela gets up to answer. It’s the hospital, Uncle Juniour has passed away. Stunned, Carmela asks which hospital it is, and hangs up. She runs up the stairs to here room where Tony is asleep, she wakes him up and breaks him the news. Tony is stunned too. “He’s dead? What happened?” He gets out of bed and goes to get some clothes on.

At the hospital, Tony talks with one of the doctors about the cause of death. The dead corpse is taken out of the emergency room, and Tony stands their watching his Uncle, his father best and closest friend, one of the first members of the DiMeo family.

New Jersey, 1962

Giovanni Francis "Johnny Boy" Soprano, Corrado “Juniour” Soprano, and Dominic DiMeo are all sitting in a warehouse. They are planning out the “whacking” of one of their Capo’s, Alberto Le Grovanni. Corrado Soprano had seen him talking and collaborating with The Paglieri Family. “He’s always out with his gumar on Saturdays. He stays at here place too that night,” says Giovanni Soprano, who was given an objective by Dominic to follow Alberto for over three weeks.
Dominic was now positive that Alberto working with the Paglieri family, and has been his death for over two days now. Johnny Boy and Juniour Soprano would hold out the execution, tomorrow night, at his gumars house.

It was a cold night, only two days until Christmas, and there they where, both Soprano’s where in a 1961 Cadillac which Giovanni had bought for Corrado last Christmas. They watched from the car, as the car was parked a couple of feet away from the house, on the other side of the road. Alberto was supposed to be their half an hour ago. “You think he might have found out some way?” Johnny Boys ask Corrado. “Fuck him, he’ll be here. Didn’t you say he always comes here on Saturdays?” Johnny Boy nods, and Junior’s answer was to the point, “Then fucking wait.” Finally, a light colored car came to a halt in front of the gumars house. “It’s them,” says Giovanni in a very confident tone.
Alberto and the gumar are flirting and laughing as they make their way to the door. Alberto was obviously a little drunk. “The motherfucker had too much wine; he won’t put up a fight.”

Corrado Soprano got out of the car, and took a wire in this hand. Johnny Boy followed in his footsteps, with a gun.
Corrado knocks on the door continuously, until Alberto opens the door. “Hey, can we come in. Dominic told me to deliver you an important message.” Alberto looks at both of them suspiciously, but tells them to come in. As he turns around to walk in, Corrado gets out the wire and strangles Alberto. Alberto tries to fight for his life, but it’s too late, Corrado had complete power of him. The gumar ran into the hallway and began to scream at the scene. Johnny Boy shoots the bitch to death. Alberto and the gumar are both lying next to each other. DEAD.

NEW JERSEY, PRESENT (2007)

At Uncle Juniors funeral there where hundreds of people. Tony was standing next to his family, and Janice. The heads of the five New York families were all there to pay their condolences. Paulie, Patsy, and many of the Soprano family crew stood a little farther away, in silence. Corrado was a respected man by many, and his was the boss of the family for a couple of years no one will easily forget him. People are walking around giving their condolences to Anthony Soprano. While in a van standing away from the scene, Three FBI agents are identifying the men at the scene with the help of Carlo Gervasi. The camera zooms out at the scene of the funeral, while we hear Carlo helping them identify the men. FADE OUT.

The episode was pretty much completely re-written from what I had last week. It took a very different direction than I had previously planned. It might be a little short, but I just didn’t want to jam a whole lot into the Season Opening Episode. NEXT SUNDAY might be a back-to-back episode. But I won’t be sure until I see how much school work I’ve got. See you all NEXT SUNDAY, with an ALL-NEW Episode.

Multiple spelling/grammatical errors

You switch back and forth between verb tenses throughout

Is this a story or a screenplay? Seems like you're trying to do both. Do one or the other.

It's really an outline of how the episode would be. As for the mistakes, I'll be reading the chapter again, and will fix some of the mistakes I see. Thanks for reading it though.

Thanks for the reviews everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed my first and not-so-great episode. ;\)

Today I pretty much invisioned most of the second episode, which is based on a dream I had last night actually. It's gonna be great, much better than this episode. Also, over the next couple of episodes, an old foe will be returning, someone we never really got to know well....

That's great!

Just one thing? I always assumed that Silvio was older then Tony, not just because Stevie Van Zandt is at least ten years older than James Gandolfini, but because I think I recall it being referenced that Silvio was a member of Johnny Boy's crew, while Tony was still a kid.

But I'm nit-picking. Really, well thought out!

I enjoyed it a little, but I think there are too many flashbacks. But that's just me. How long after the NY/NJ war is this?

This takes place about a month after the NY/NJ war.

I'd also like to inform you all that the second episode is about half-way done. I wasn't busy last night so I decided to begin writing it, I'm very proud of it so far. MUCH better than this episode, and similar in some way to Season 5's "The Test Dream."

Remember the next episode will be avaliable on SUNDAY.

You know, that's how the idea for the episode "Pine Barrens" came about. Tim Van Patten dreamt about Paulie and Chissy being stuck in the woods during season 2, but they were not able to work it into the plot until season 3.

Yeah, that is in the Sopranos book. If your episode is as good as Pine Barrens, then you should be writing for TV - and I hear there's a shortage of writers nowadays...lol

I finally had the time today to read your episode. It was a decent attempt to mimic The Sopranos - hey, anything's better than what's on now.

For one, I thought Carmella's reaction to Junior's death was out of character. Since season 1, she HATED Junior. I doubt that she would rush to tell Tone that he's dead. She'd probably wait till morning, and sip some wine in relief.

Secondly, it was short. When you write dialogue, put it on a separate line. Also, many times you would not actually write what the person was saying, but a description. It is much better to actually write it out. Finally, The Sopranos is about a 50 minute show. That would translate to about 50 pages in a screenplay, with the proper format.

But, like I said, its good. Sorry if I'm nit-picking; a lot of people really do not have the time to write a proper script.

So far we've got 220 views for the episode, not bad. Keep reading and reviewing. Thanks for the review Sopranoorleone. But as I said this is just an Outline, so there will not be much detail about what people are saying.

Once again, THANKS for all the reviews.

I finished writing the Second Episode, which will be named The Flip. I will post it sometime tomorrow.

And now here is a preview from tomorrows episode:

"At the Bada Bing Tony furiously walked into the empty office. Beyond entering he could feel something touch his hip, and standing behind him was Furio. Furio stands behind Tony with a gun in his hand aimed right at his hip. Furio pushes Tony to one of the seats, and personally makes himself comfortable on Tony's desk. He is still pointing the gun at Tony, "You miss me, Tony?" His accent was the same, and pretty much everything about hadn't changed. Tony looks at him, confused, and tells him to "go fuck himself" and that "you'll be dead in a matter of seconds." Furio laughs and shoots a bullet that hits a glass of wine that was placed next to Tony. But Anthony didn't move, he did not even blink at what just happened, although deep inside his heart was pumping faster than ever."

The Sopranos Episode two, coming tomorrow night.

Okay, here it is, the second episode of my version of a 7th SOPRANOS Season. The episode took me a lot of time to flesh out. I already planned out the next 4 episodes.

So here it is...

Episode 88: The Flip
Running Time: 50 minuted
RATED R 18+ (As if anyone gives a shit)

As the title sequence comes to an end we see Christopher Molitsanti sitting down on a chair, comforting himself. He’s been staying at the Plaza for a couple of days to wash his mind off “some of this shit at work.” His hotel door knocks a couple of times and he gets up to open it. The figure we see is a big, not-so-skinny man; Tony Soprano. Chris embraces him with a lot of love; Christopher loved Tony like a father, not just a nephew or any other Capo from the crew. They had a certain bond together; but Tony had changed a bit, and Chris could tell just by the look on his face after embracing him. Chris offers Tony a drink, Tony refuses and takes a seat on one of the two available. The view is charming; New York City with all its beauty was right in front of him; Tony himself checked into a room like this “to take his mind of things” a couple of years before. Christopher hands Tony an envelope; which presumably contained money. “It’s a beautiful view you got up here.” speaks Tony, his nephew nods in agreement, “I thought I’d take some time off and enjoy myself, I’ve been working too hard, especially with Cleaver, I’m finally done with that motherfucker.” Tony gets up, and tells Christopher he wants to see him back at work soon, and earning more than before. A look of despair charges Christopher’s face; as Tony begins to move towards the door he reaches into his pocket and gets out a gun, which strikes Tony right in the back of his head. “I went to hell for you; I wish you actually deserved it.”
On the floor right next to the door lays Tony, in silence.

As he drives his car through a dark, and unnerving street Tony Soprano continued listening to the radio, he had just lost 10 grand on the last Jet’s game, those “motherfuckers, couldn’t even get the win.” It was a rainy night, on the woodlands, the rest of the street was deserted, and his car was the only one to be seen. An unknown object could be seen from far away as Tony continued drive at a high speed; the object turns out to be a human and Tony hit the brakes as fast as he could. The man was standing inches away from the car, starring straight forward. It takes Tony a couple of seconds to realize its Phil Leotardo; he continues to look straight forward. Tony moves back a couple of steps, he looks around him, but unfortunately there no one is around, the road is still deserted. Tony asks Phil if he wants a ride; Phil’s answer isn’t what Tony expected, “Go Fuck yourself, cocksucker.” Tony feels blinded and weak-kneed, and in a matter of seconds he tumbled to the floor, begging Phil for help; while Phil laughs at Tony, who continued to cry out for help.

Tony Blundetto threw out his cigarette while driving his car into the woodlands; it was an old 80’s Cadillac, but it still got the job done for Blundetto. On his right was Tony Soprano, who was speechless. The car makes its way into forest through the woodlands, but the sun was still shining. The aged Cadillac came to a halt in front of an old house; Tony Blundetto leaves the car, still in silence, Tony does the same. Blundetto walks over to the backyard, but Tony continues walking towards the front door, as he steps in to open the door, the sound of a bullet is fired, and Tony is blown away to the floor. Blundetto walks over to him; Tony’s face is bursting with blood.

Furio Giunta is having his usual dinner at Nuovo Vesuvio, accompanying him at the table is Tony Soprano who is enjoying his chicken parmigiana. Furio looks up at Tony with abomination, and finally speaks, “You know I wanted to fuck your wife, right?” Tony continues to eat joyfully, as if he didn’t hear anything that was said. But Furio doesn’t ignore him, he takes out a gun, and “BAM!” a shot hits Tony right on his throat; he falls over the chair, choking and screaming for help. Everyone is enjoying their dinner and no one even cares to look behind them at Tony, who was now dead. Relieved, Furio takes a seat at the table and continues his meal. At the kitchen we see Artie Bucco laughing at the scene of Tony dead; he too obviously enjoyed seeing him like that.

Tony sat in the car in silence; in the driving seat was Adriana. Adriana looks over at a terrified Tony, “He’s gonna be okay, he’s a strong kid.” Tears flood Tony’s eyes and face. Adriana grins and drives off into a forest; Tony notices something is going on, “Where the fuck are you taking me?” Adriana doesn’t answer; she continues on into the forest and stops the car; she gets out. Tony knows what is about to happen and struggles to get out of the car; he eventually does and runs on his knees crying for help; but Adriana with no mercy at all shoots him to death.

Tony woke up at the parking lot of the BADA BING, next to him is a dancer he was fucking the night before; she was still asleep. Tony wakes her up and tells her its time for her to leave. Tony’s cellphone rings, and it’s Carmella; who tells him she was “worried sick about him,” and tells him she called Paulie, but he said he didn’t know where Tony was. Tony tells her he’ll be home right away.

At the Soprano home Tony enters the kitchen and gives Carmella a couple of kisses, and has his usual orange juice drink. Carmella asks him where he was all night, Tony, obviously lying, tells her he was at the lawyers office discussing some important things. Carmella doesn’t buy it, but doesn’t argue either; she continues to cook their dinner. Up at the master bedroom Tony takes off his clothes and gets himself into the shower where he begins to think over the dreams he had in the car. While thinking he gets a little unbalanced, and feels unsteady he falls down in the shower; he has a panic attack.

At the hospital Dr. Cusamano talks to Carmella about Tony’s recent troubles; he is however petrified while asking her knowing Tony’s business. Carmella tells him he’s stopped seeing the shrink; Cusamano expresses to her that therapy is very important especially for his case, and that he needs to get back to seeing a therapist; he gives her the card of a male therapist. Satisfied, Carmella thanks Cusamano and leaves his office. At Tony’s hospital wing, Carmella informs him about the new therapist Cusamano told her about; but Tony’s has had enough and makes it clear he isn’t seeing those “ignorant cocksuckers ever again.” Carmella gloomily leaves the room while shutting the door with all the madness of the room, dropping Tony’s flower vase to the floor, and into pieces.

At the FBI hideout Carlo Gervasi looks out of his tiny window, trying to assure himself that no one is trying to get him “whacked.” Still uncertain of the situation, he opens his room’s door were he finds two men sitting on a chair, sleeping. Carlo Gervasi frantically shouts at the men and wakes them up; he tells them to “wake the fuck up and keep an eye out on him.

FBI agents are gathered around a table watching footage and photos of Tony Soprano and Johnny Sac. The footage cannot be heard, but it showcases both men talking at a funeral.

At The Soprano household, Tony has his usual ice cream while watching TV; Carmella enters the room and tells him someone called from the BADA BING, it’s an emergency. In a matter of seconds Tony was parking his car at the BING; Tony furiously walked into the empty office. But Anthony didn't move he did not even blink at what just happened, although deep inside his heart was pumping faster than ever.

Paulie’s ball throw wasn’t the best way to wake up Tony from the dream. Tony gets up looking at Paulie, he looked drunk and in a matter of seconds he was throwing up in the bathroom. When he got back out he jumped right back into the bed. Paulie takes seat on the edge of the bed and talks to Tony in a considerably low voice tone; “We know where our friend is.” Tony got up from the bed, and asks Paulie if he is talking about Carlo. Paulie nods and Tony arranges a meeting with Patsy at the BING to work things out.

At the FBI headquarters Carlo Gervasi sits around a table explaining to the agents the exact details of the NJ/NY war and the asbestos. The Fed’s are recording every word he says.

At a Pizza place AJ orders himself a couple of slices and gets back to his BMW car; he drives off at full speed, listening to music and eating his pizza. From a far distance three men can be seen crossing the streets. AJ doesn’t control his speed, and hits his brakes a little too late, flipping the car over and hitting the three men.

The scene is horrific; AJ is unconscious, while the three men are dead; Carlo Gervasi and two other FBI agents lay on the floor, dead. The camera turns to show us the FBI warehouse, and back to the three dead men. We zoom out of the scene. FADE OUT.

Episode 3 will be coming soon, maybe not on Sunday though.

Please read and review~
