I've never understood why a woman would want to shave her head.  Even short, short hair on a woman is something that only a handful of women can pull off and look good IMHO. I'd feel totally lost without some hair to comb.  Not to mention totally ugly. Don't know why this was one of the most searched stories (or so I read). Then again, does anyone remember when Mia Farrow chopped her hair off after breaking up with Sinatra???  That was big news too. TIS

There are now online reports of the salon owner stating that Britney's hair will be auctioned off for "charity".
Is there any chance of her hair NOT showing up on ebay ?
Arlight, I was joking about the tattoos, but if you buy someone elses hair, you probably ARE a rapist or a maniac. I mean, what the hell does one do with a wad of human hair? make a carpet? On a semi-related note, a good friend of mine has hair that grows out all curly and such like an afro. He really let it get pretty big, and this past summer it measured out at about eight inches with the curls, and 11 inches if he were to straighten it. So, he went to Pompeii with a program called People to People, and one night it was rather hot, and he had caught a case of jet-lagged insomnia. So, he cut about 85% of his hair off with a pair of moustache trimmers. He kept all of the hair, and brought it back home to the states (I can only imagine what sort of a bizarre scene this brought up at customs, as he had to get his bag searched for some reason which is still rather hazy to me). Anyways, this was July. He still has the hair, and it has hardened and converged into a solid ball. I can only imagine how disgusting Spear's hair is going to be in a months time. I mean, unless the winner is just completely sick, they'd probably throw it out in time. Blah.
