It's going to be most likley, October 2004. San Andreas is going to be based on San Francisco too. Another urban area, which is what I like. I'm hoping it's more about the mob like 3 was. and the main character is going to be Fido (thats the GTA3 guy. thats what every one calls him on the IGN GTA board since thats what maria would call him and r* never gave him a name.)

But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

man i wish i had it for the pc, i hope when the next gta comes out it has multiplayer for ps2, by the way i heard a rumor it was supposed to take place in the 70s, not sure if that's true though, oh and a quick question how many people can play at once for the pc multiplayer?

It's not in the 70's. The original RUMOR was it was gonna be like "Casino" but it is not true.

take it easy. don't take it out on pat. its an easy mistake because the san andreas fault line is in the desert.

From what I've heard, GTA:San Andreas will be a mix of the movies:Get Shorty, Desperado, Jackie Brown, Boyz In Da Hood, Swordfish, and Go. Hopefully there will be a hint of the mafia in this game. You just can't have the game without them.

I wish it would be about Tommy Vercetti or someone else because I didn't like Fido. He never said one word throughout.

How am I not myself?

Yeah I like Tommy V better to he's funny and cooler than fido any day. Plus I might have said this already but Tommy V's voice is played by Ray Liotta the guy who played Herny Hill in Goodfellas and that just makes Tommy V all the more cooler on my list.

I gave it some thought, and I was just curious. How many references in Vice City are there to GTA 3. I picked up on Donny Love, Fernando, Lazlo, and The Forreli's in Liberty City.

Fido? I like Lyle Douglas a whole lot better. It's shame that they could hire actors like Frank Vincent and Micheal Madsen to play roles but they couldn't get a voice for the silent guy. That's messed up.

actually there are refrences from vice city in GTA3 because although it was made before vice it also takes place 15 years later.

marco's bistrill (the place where sonny talks to his family) which was suppose to be in liberety from vice city was in GTA3 also. in gta3 lazlow says "hi this is chatterbox and i'm lazlow, because i got kicked off the rock station" and also toni who hosted flash fm in vice was hosting flashback in gta3. theres tons more. almost every thing in gta3 was in vice, which is good when making a prequel.
