The other interesting news today is all high-def related. HBO has apparently confirmed to Video Business that their first HD-DVD format release will be The Sopranos: Season Six, Part One (due 11/17, SRP $129.95). That's day and date with the standard DVD version (SRP $99.95). HBO will apparently release additional seasons of the series on HD-DVD in 2007, along with Blu-ray Disc versions as well.
