Coppola said if he does part 4, it will be like Godfather part 2. He said it will focus on how Vincent Corleone (Andy Garcia) leads the mafia as Don Vincent Corleone. As for likeness of GF2, it will show flashbacks of Vincent's early life and other things not explained in part 1,2, & 3.

I thought the flashback scenes are suppose to focus on his father's early life, not his.

Maybe your right, im not sure. I am sure though about it focusing on Vinnie's rise to power.

I don't think flashbacks like that will work for Vincent, He's nowhere near as important as Vito was.. Those flashback scenes were my favourite in GF2 , but I don't think they could pull those scenes off having Vincent born in a more modern age
