Anyone here read The Godfather Papers? I just recently ordered it from Amazon. It's out of print, so you can't buy it new but you can get it used. It's pretty interesting so far, what I've read talks about Mario Puzo growing up, his family and friends, some about his other books, of course The Godfather, also about the making of the movie. I'm about half way through it. Around 1968 when he sold the paperback rights he got $410,000 for it but only got to keep $205,000. The publisher's got to keep the other half.
