I've never read the family before, but I know it's completed by Carol Gino. Does anyone actually know how much of it Mario Puzo did? Just wondering, I'm sure Carol Gino is pretty good, she must've picked up his style at some point. Is the book any good?

I havent read it, but I did read an interview with Carol Gino and like two weeks before he died, while he was finishing Omerta, he handed her a big stack of legal pad sheets with red writing, and he told her to write the last chapter of the Borgia book. I don't know if he named it The Family or if she did, but yeah. Only the last chapter was written by her.

I thought it was great. It may be slow in areas but it really picks up in the end. You should definitly pick it up.
