I just read on aintitcool.com that they're making a movie called The Borgias. I don't think it will be based totally on Puzo's novel, but, well, it's about the Borgias!

Hey I haven't read The Family yet, so I hadn't noticed that it was about the Borgias. I have read Machiavelli's The Prince, and it is about the Cardinal Spada, the Borgias' advisor. It is set in Florence, right?

The IMDb says that Ewan McGregor will play Cesare Borgia and Christina Ricci will play Lucrezia Borgia. Ewan McGregor has proved himself to be a good actor in Trainspotting and Black Hawk Down and Christina Ricci...well, she's cool.
