i have a couple ?'s

1. who wrote Wiseguy.. i know the 1st name is Nicholas.

2. is the book EXACTLY like the movie Goodfellas?

3. If there are differences, could you please list them!1

Nicholas Pileggi wrote "Wiseguys," on which "Goodfellas" is very closely based. Basically, only names are changed, and not all of them. Henry Hill and Karen maintain their real names in the book and the film. All the others have their names changed (i.e., Paul Vario in the book becomes Paulie Cicero in the film). The same approach is used in another Pileggi book, "Casino," which was made into a movie of the same name.

If you can from your Library get the Audio tapes and book at same tiem an dread/listen together, it's an awesoem experience almost as good as the movie!
