Today I was at the book store looking for a book for school. I seen the book "Omerta" and I was wondering should I buy it. Is it worth it, and is it really good?

That depends on a number of things:

How old are you, What kind of reading do you like, Do you have enought money to buy it?

Go for it then.....

Welcome, Paul! I suppose, like C.D. said, it depends on certain factors. I've read it and enjoyed it. I wouldn't rate it as good as The Godfather, but it was okay. For $7.99, it was worth it.

YES, 7.99, a Good novel about a Mafia Don's Son, Astorre Viola, who is adopted by his father's friend, Raymonde Aprile. Starts in 1965, and ends in about 1997.

Mostly 90's Mafia Vs. FBI/NYPD. Good read!

I too read it and enjoyed it. Like Snake said, not anywhere near as good as GF, but kept me interested.

I highly recommend it. Its on top of my best books that I read. If you want updated versions of the mafia (twists and memorable characters go get it). Hey good price too (gott look for one myself, lol) Have fun. Im still waiting for it to become a movie (wishing the cast I wanted will be utilized though, lol)

Omerta is okay. It's not difficult reading, and I like the characters in the book. Not nearly as good as the Godfather, but what book is?

He MUST be a senior citizen, how else could he go from Don to Undebross without being knocked off?

I would buy it was a great book. I think I only paid 5 or 6 dollars for it.
