In fact, I bought mine from a K-Mart!

you mean it cost $20.00 in Australia for a book that's been around that long? What is the exchange rate. I know Canada is running almost 60-65% right now.....GEE

The Australian dollar is really bad at the moment, something like 53 cents to the American dollar. So $20 Australian is only around $10 American. I also know that The Godfather wasn't around in book stores for awhile because they kept selling out so quickly so they had to raise the price a bit on all of Mario Puzo's books. That was here in Melbourne though, I don't know about the rest of Australia.

I just bought The Last Don for $6. Seconf Hand but in very good condition.

I am looking forward to reading it. So far it is quite good.

yes i got ripped off actually,
i was in kmart the other day and saw it for $5 AUS
about $2.50 USD

saw omerta in a news agency for $5 also,

puzo books are quite cheap
