Carlo's Neck
Could someone please explain this book to me? I see it referenced all the time. The odd thing is that it seems to be some kind of re-write of The Godfather? At least that is my assumption...

I'm moving this to the appropriate category - "other Puzo books"...

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

But....

I was asking "How it relates to The Godfather"?

I hope it gets answered here, I guess. I don't visit any other forums beside the main Godfather Forum. Oh well...Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You have to read it, you'll love it. It's a seperate story to the Godfather but Michaels exile to Sicily is included in it as part of the story.

Is basically about a Sicilian bandit trying to escape to America with Michaels help as Michael is wanting to return home too.

Thanx for the tip Turi, i'll buy it tomorrow.

By the way, i don't like bandits.

Contrary to popular belief, Unix is userfriendly. It just happens to be selective about who it makes friends with.

Oh he's no ordinary bandit. He's Salvatore Giuliano. (Spelled Guiliano in the book).

Don't worry its not a spell error on my part.

Well there is some romanticization but in general it's a book of its own, the godfather is someone seperate.
