Originally posted by Letizia B.: You like Gigi too? Or are you making fun of me for liking him? :p Nope! Gigi D'Alessio is hugely popular here and especially loved by a very traditional audience. I'd have never expected to find a young Californian girl among his fans! As for Raoul Bova, I'd suggest you to watch "Facing Window" (aka La finestra di fronte). It not only displays a sexy Raoul (wearing spectacles... in fact the pic you posted is just from this movie!) as the timid, romantic banker who is hopelessly in love, but it is a GREAT movie. Perhaps the one I love the most among most recent Italian movies. I know it may be difficult to find the DVD in the States, but if you have the chance, don't lose it!

si, bisogna usarlo... ti posso insegnare un po' d'italiano ma l'ho studiato soltanto durante tre anni, allora forse sarebbe migliore da chiedere a Lavinia! Mais je peux bien vous rappeller du francais car je le parle courrament (My italian ain't as good as my french cos I've been speaking french for eleven years and italian for only three  ) So how come spanish is your mother tongue, if you don't mind me asking? You speak great english. PS Vito, added thanks

Wow, you've lived in some cool places! I go to University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and you have to study three subject there to begin with. I already spoke spanish and french and I really wanted to learn italian, so I chose that as my third subject and here we are! I've been lucky enough to travel around Italy a little (Venice, Verona, Florence, Rome, Naples and Sicily) so I've had some practice with native speakers I think if you already speak spanish and english you would find it easy to learn, maybe you should look for classes
