The arrival of Comancheros and Rebels from Australia, Rock Machine from Canada, plus Mongols and Vagos from the USA creates tension with established outlaw motorcycle clubs in Europe.
The number of Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) chapters in Europe has increased at a significant rate since 2010 and the total number of chapters is now over 700. The expansion has in particular happened across North-East and South-East Europe. Aside from an increase among the four main groups - Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (MC), Bandidos MC, Outlaws MC and Gremium MC - the increasing number of chapters is also due to the growth of more local groups such as Satudarah Maluku MC and Blue Angels MC in North-West Europe.
In addition to the tensions associated with the expansion of established OMCGs, the arrival of new OMCGs from Australia (e.g. Comanchero MC and Rebels MC), Canada (e.g. Rock Machine MC), and the USA (e.g. Mongols MC and Vagos MC) has brought fear of intergroup conflicts in Europe.

On April 7, 2016, there was a massive brawl between thirty members of the Hells Angels and the Mongols in the Van der Valk Hotel in Rotterdam . Hotel guests escape to the adjacent fitness center. Police found seven bullet casings in the parking lot. The police arrested twenty suspects.
According to the weekly magazine Panorama, the European branch of the MC was subsequently summoned.
The mother chapter in the US felt that the Mongols in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and other countries should meet more conditions. More contributions had to be paid, reliable sources told Panorama. It was also stated that revenge would have to be taken on rival clubs if there had been victims of fights or attacks. Friction would have arisen between the Europeans and the Americans. The European Mongols would like to act more peacefully.
According to Panorama, this led to a bad standing for all chapters of the Mongols throughout Europe. An entire continent getting bad standing has never happened before in the motorcycle world. On September 26, 2016, the European Mongols decided to continue independently, but that also led to discord. The Germans did not want to secede after all. The Dutch Mongols were subsequently dissolved.
