It's history! After two failed World Cup qualifiers in the 2018 and 2022 editions, Italy returns to qualify for the group stage of an international competition. Thanks to the 0-0 draw just obtained at the BayArena in Leverkusen against Ukraine, Luciano Spalletti's Azzurri enter as runners-up in the qualifying group for the Euro 2024 group stage.

With 14 points behind England (20) and on equal points with Ukraine, Italy gains access thanks to the direct clash with the Ukrainians, having won the first leg match 2-1 at the Meazza in Milan.

Yeah it fucking sucks lol - I was hoping for anyone other than Italy. It would have been fun if it was Germany, Albania, Croatia and Serbia smile

But we'll see. Italy's not super strong at the moment but a lot can change between now and June; hopefully we get Perisic or Orsic back.

I do expect us to pass this group though; even with Spain I believe we can get to the the #1 spot.

Had a good week for the teams I support (Milan and Arsenal!)

Hey Hollander, sorry took a bit of a break from this forum! Busy with work.

I'm personally not that familiar with him as he plays in Serbia; I follow Croatian league but not so much Serbian and Croatian teams don't often play with Serbian teams.

On another note, big win for Milan yesterday! We have to focus on Europea League and Scudetto (which will be very hard to win), but we can do our best; I believe Milan with a bit of restructuring can be right behind Inter in the league.

Mismanagement the last two years, while Feyenoord has made major steps the last years with Arne Slot. Next season we are back in Champions League and we play later the Dutch cup final.
