Guy works 60 hours in a week in a factory or an office, has nothing to do with them, is the stiff, jerk or maybe the scum bag.
Like everything with them is in reverse
At least for a lot of them on the lower level.,especially if the working stiff won't get involved in one of their bright ideas.

Not all.Others, usually at the top recognize legal accomplishments as something good, whether success in sports,in a professional position,in business.Especially if its somebody close like the Corleones with Michael the war hero. Those types don't want kids to be involved.Rather have them doctors, lawyers, hopefully President of USA. Or take over family business(s) that are legal, even if that was not always the case.Hopefully the kids stay legal in whatever they choose. But they have been raised in that environment.

A person can work 60 hours a week and be a total creep. Who works that many hours? Time-and-a- holdf is nice. A guy can be in the Mafia and still be good in many ways, or he can be all around bad. You sound like an angry man who works 60 hours a week with no overtime and is miserable. You need Mafia members or associates to step in and unionize for you. Then, before and after they go to prison for "Extorting the business" you can say they are stand up guys as you collect your larger salary.

I should have thought that.Thanks.Should have had a union job.Should have asked some of the business agents or contractors I know.
BTW ,for the record, I did not say everybody in the mafia is a bad guy,and actually I suggested otherwise that most want better for their kids and even recognize accomplishments of working guys. And never said hard working or long working guys can't be creeps.. Plenty of guys worked 60 hours a week, and many had great wages and benefits because they were in the unions. And many worked 60 hours who were not in unions
You ever hear any conversations that go something like what I described?

Sorry for not respsonind sooner Havana. Yes, I have heard that complaint and others. I also hear the opposite. I do think if a person works over 40 hours a week and is still broke they are living over their means or being screwed over by the company they work for.

I never lifted a shovel or walked into a factory in my life.I don't know how they do it day after day, year after year.Guys I know that wwould be well off just working 40 hours. Many eworked 60 hours, and one I kno0w and a couple I know of,worked 80 hours for a long time. I could probably hasndled it physically but not mentally.Feeling like not having any freedom would bother me.
